BarkZone – Montavilla

My pup, Rucker, has been going to Barkzone since October (4 months old). Picking him up reminds me of the days when my daughter was in daycare. The staff is all very friendly, and so kind, and there’s always a sweet comment about his day when we leave. It’s so apparent that everyone who works there truly enjoys what they do, and more importantly, loves dogs!
I really love the addition of the futon, as he loves to cuddle at home. And being able to watch him throughout the day is the best! Thanks, again, for all you do. :-)

This is my dog’s favorite place! He literally drags me to the door every time we go. The staff takes personal interest in all the pups and I love that. There is always staff in the room w/​dogs keeping a watchful eye.
And they have cameras in the rooms so you can watch your pooch romp around while your at work. Also you can have your dog bathed while they are there which is a great benefit.

I have been taking my dog here for daycare twice a week for over 6 months. My dog loved Barkzone Montavilla so much that she would pull all the way to the door, and jump repeatedly into the lobby because she was so excited to be there. The staff always had sweet things to say about my dog each day, and I could tell they all truly loved dogs. I also really appreciated that they gave me a free day of daycare on my dogs birthday, and also her last day there. If we weren’t moving 3000 miles away, I would keep bringing my dog to Barkzone for years to come. I’m sure the place will be even better when they add an outdoor area.

Our dog, Koda, LOVES «going to play with his friends!» In fact, if you ask him that, he will drive us crazy until he’s actually there! They’re great and all the staff we’ve encountered seem to love our dog! We highly recommend it. It’s been a great place to socialize our German Shepherd!

My dog loves going here for day care. The whole staff knows his name and even recognize him away from the day care. The place is clean with tons of room for dogs to play. Take your dogs here for a great treat.

I love this place and so does my dog! I board my dog at Bark Zone Montavilla about four nights a month. They’ve taken great care of my dog and offer bathing and grooming services. My dog always comes back really happy and well adjusted. The staff is friendly and I don’t mind putting down a deposit for each stay. I have an email I copy and paste my payment info to and it takes a total of 30 seconds of my day. They takes pics of my dog during her stay and email them to me. That’s cool! Anyway, I recommend Bark Zone to all my fellow dog owning neighbor and friends.

I used to go to this place when it was Lazy Dog Crazy Dog and I hadn’t been back since it was purchased by The Bark Zone and I am not sure I will be back.
I made my reservation for day care and boarding on Friday for the next day. I had received an email from them telling me that one of my vaccines for my dog was outdated so I made the appointment that afternoon. About 4:30pm that afternoon I get an email stating that I needed to come bring by the full deposit for my reservation because they fill up quickly and couldn’t guarantee the space. (What is the point of a reservation if I have to make a separate trip there to pay or if you can’t guarantee my spot via phone only?!?) Also, if you needed a deposit-​how about telling me that while I’m on the phone instead of sending a passive-​aggressive email. I decided to take my chances because I didn’t have time to make another trip. It was fine.
I brought my dog in Saturday morning and the whole place just felt less happy. Thank God for the person who came to get him because they were friendly and kind and from the LDCD days. I dropped him with feeding instructions ½ cup (which I knew he wouldn’t eat) but gave about 4 cups of food just in case some got spilled or I decided to add a day to his stay.
When I picked him up, they returned his food dish completely empty without any explanation. When I asked about it they told me he ate it. Never in the history of my 17lb dog would he eat 4 cups of food!!! Also when we got home he drank water like he hadn’t had water for a day and had a few bites of food. Not sure what happened and maybe they were off their game and still finding their footing with the new location, but it was unimpressive to me on this visit.
