The woman running the shop is incredibly nice! She gave our dog some treats. Noticing that we were hitch hiking and low on cash she gave us a coffee and muffin on the house!!! I appreciate that they have many non dairy milk substitutes including coconut milk and hemp milk.

I think the address in Unilocal needs to be updated… It lead me to Walgreens… That’s all I can say about the place until I know the correct address.

I had driven by this little coffee shop every day for months, and then finally decided to stop by when I was pinched for time and breakfastless on the way to work. I had their cheese bagel, which was absolutely amazing. I also plan to try their breakfast burrito. There were some earrings from a local business on the counter(very cool), and I received great service. Oh yeah — the coffee was also quite yummy. Will certainly be back!

I love this place. The owner and her son are awesome, and love to support small businesses. They have organic coffee, and HEMP milk… yum! Took me awhile to find them after they moved, but am glad I’ve re-found them. More difficult for me to get there though, unless I leave a little earlier… best cup of coffee nearby though… so stop by if you can! :)

I found it! They are located next to the Barbur Business Center on Barbur Boulevard. They are super friendly and I just had their Eggnog Latte. SOGOOD!!!

Great coffee and fun people making it. I love that they offer other milk choices than just Dairy and Soy(of course they would get all stars if they offered Coconut milk) They have many special drink offers and will make them to suit your sweet tooth or not… They even have some breakfast and snack offerings. Drive through and enjoy your yummy coffee. Oh and their location is on Barbur Blvd now not far north of the Transit center.

I found the bean scene yesterday morning on my early drive to work. I only planned on stopping because it was convenient, and well, I already had a local coffee shop by my house where they knew me by name. Needless to say, after the AWESOME coffee(an americano with just a touch of ice to cool it down so I didn’t have to wait) I am a devoted fan! I went back again this morning and after meeting Jason, who runs the place with his mom, I know that I will be making this part of my morning routine. It’s so easy to access both from the highway and to get back onto Barbur for my drive into downtown. So much better than Starbucks and I totally agree with other Unilocalers on the preference for Longbottom over Stumptown.

Always a great cup of Coffee. Since I’ve been going to Bean Scene for coffee I can’t go anywhere else for coffee. I live in Lake Oswego and there’s no place that serves this high quality cup of coffee here. Starbucks and Pete coffee are undrinkable, gross. Bean Scene is a little drive thru place sometimes there is a line of cars but it is always well worth the wait. I really love a great cup of coffee. Thanks Bean Scene!

Certainly a fine little coffee stand, and the serving of Long Ottom IS better than Stump Town, I agree; Stump Town veers too much to the Bitter Side. I’ve only had soy lattes here, but I have to second the idea that generally it’s about as good and perfectly located of a coffee stand as you could want, very convenient to PCC and of course in addition to the Five, right off of Babur and SW Capitol too, which means it’s very convenient when driving into the southwest hills, particularly from the south; I have enough friends down there to have gotten an appreciation for the place.

Mmmmmm. At the risk of being tossed out of Portland with my travel mug in hand, I’m going to go ahead & say, that if there’s one thing I love more than a place that serves StumpTown, it’ s a place that serves LongBottom!!! So this little coffee hut is drive through/walk up window service only, & that’s ok. Located kinda conveniently at the corner of Taylors Ferry & Barber(next to the Castle Store… hubba hubba!!) you can swing in, grab a delicious coffee, & hit the 5 in like 2 seconds! Yes, no surprise, I ordered the White Chocolate Mocha Latte… with an extra shot… the hubs grabbed himself a Mexican Latte. Holy Beans Bat-Man! That certainly is 16oz of some of the most delicious coffee drink I have ever had!!! Not to mention the 2 chocolate covered espresso beans served with each drink! Nice touch! The hubs’ drink had just a bit too much cinnamon for his liking, but he managed to «muddle through». Oh, my perfectly prepared drink had me reeling for the rest of the day… & thinking about going back very soon! There is a mother/son combo there running the place, & they are both just as friendly & personable as can be! & as every good business with a drive through window should be… they are fully prepared to bestow upon your furry family members treats! Baxter & Henry were hooked up with some nice doggie goodies, simply for being as cute as they are! When you go, because you know you will… don’t forget to get the«punch card». Buy 10 beverages & your next 12 or 16oz beverage is on them!
