In town from Seattle and the Portland Farmers market is a must. Was looking for breakfast and came upon Bingos! So glad I did. Had the bacon, tomato, kimchi, spicy mayo, lettuce sandwich.(Can’t remember the exact order of the initials!). Also added a duck egg and it was quite possibly the best breakfast sandwich ever. Plus the guy and gal working there were hilarious! GO!

I found bingo sandwiches just ok. There are so many culinary treats in portland that my sausage sandwich(which was technically called a brat!) fell short of my expectation. I will say the bread the brat(sausage sandwich) was served on was very good. So maybe there other sandwiches are better.

Saturdays at the farmer’s market are for produce shopping… and eating at Bingo. The sausage sandwich(with all the scratch-made fixins) is my go-to, but I’ll admit I haven’t had it in a while thanks to the weekly specials they’re coming up with over here. Teriyaki with kimchi mayo on fresh naan… mexican pork loin with pickled, spicy carrots, peppers and onions. Lord. If you’ve got the hollow leg or a friend to swap halfway through with, get their delish fennel/garlic/magic sausage AND whatever the special is. You won’t be sorry. And don’t forget the hot sauce!

Delicious egg sandwiches at the PSU farmers market, especially when Pine State isn’t open yet. Love the cast iron and legit mustards. Pricey at $ 6 for breakfast sandwich.

Bingo continues at the PSU Saturday Farmers’ Market. The menu is simplified without the owner having the large prep capabilities of his brick and mortar restaurant, but the quality continues. I had a sausage Bingo, made with pickled onions and cucumbers they made, topped with sauerkraut they made and mustard they made: all ingredients in house, on a quality locally made roll, with a salad of substantial mixed greens from a local supplier. At a bargain price, maker team right there! They also have egg-based breakfast items, including with duck eggs. And you can buy some of their pickles for take-home. Tasty Saturday brunch without the wait!

I had the meatloaf BLT at the farmer’s market this morning and I must say it’s the best damn sandwich I’ve had in a long time.

Sandwich Eaters Be Warned! Look Before You Eat! I had a «LABTOAD» sandwich from the BINGO! sandwich booth at PSU today. It was supposed to be a «ROASTEDLAMB» sandwich, but it turned out to be «BURNT-TO-CHARCOALLAMB» sandwich. I was so shocked when I open-faced my sandwich and threw out everything but a small piece of lamb that was about the size of a quarter. All the rest of the lamb was inedible. Now, this is a waste of money. I will never go back. You like charcoaled meat? Look at the posted photo and see how(un)appetizing it is.

The previous reviewer is exactly correct, only neglecting to mention that BINGO’s weekly version of the BLT is absolutely BESTSANDWICH I’ve ever eaten. Can’t decided whether I prefer the LABTOAD(BLT + aioli + carmelized onions + pickled asparagus + roasted duck) or the one with lamb…
