We had a very large, dying silver maple in a narrow planting strip by the street. The entire removal process with Alex went smoothly and professionally. He removed the tree, all the wood, as we had no place to store any, ground the stump down to a depth well below what we needed to plant the required replacement tree, and took away the extra grindings. His price was very reasonable, he was on site when he said he would be, and responded quickly to my questions. In short, a perfect experience.

We had a surprisingly negative experience with this service. We paid over $ 1000 a year ago for removing and pruning trees below our neighbors’ horizon to last 3 years. Many of the trees grew and encroached on their view in less than one year. Alex offered to discount the re-​pruning and agreed on a date to perform the work. He never showed. He did not call. He did not respond to multiple phone messages. Very unprofessional. Very unreliable. Extremely disappointing.

Highly recommend Bridgetown Tree Service! We received a couple quotes prior to deciding on a tree service and Bridgetown was half the cost and they did a great job! They trimmed our trees to satisfaction and even went back up on our deck after we decided we wanted a couple limbs trimmed shorter. They were on time and efficient when they were here. The cleaned up all of the debris. They made sure we were satisfied before leaving and we were. Thanks guys!

They showed up on time, the cost matched the quote, and they took our tree down unbelievably quickly. They also entertained all of our requests to save a bunch of the branches and chips for our gardening.

We hired Bridgetown Tree Service to take down a dead street tree, a plum tree that was alive, but falling over in our back yard, and to trim up our cedar tree and another street tree. They did a GREAT job!
Four guys showed up and in about an hour, it was all complete and cleaned up, and everything looked perfect.
We got two other quotes and Bridgetown Tree was by far the most economical. Alex is also just a super-​nice guy and easy to schedule and communicate with.
These are now our «tree people.»

Amazing tree service! The two man team are top notch and reasonably priced. They trimmed up our very large over 50′ Oak tree and we are so happy with the result.

Wow these guys are good. I had a bunch of tree limbs encroaching on my neighbor’s property and on my house. I got three bids, and decided to go with Bridgetown because of their high Unilocal reviews and I felt like they’d do a really good job.
They did everything exactly how it was labeled on the bid sheet. Their prices seemed very reasonable, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality tree trimming.
They completed the entire job in two hours, and I thought they would have been here all day. They cleaned up everything after the job was done, and were as professional as possible.
I should be good to go for the next 3 – 5 years, and when the time comes when I need someone to do some tree work at my house, they’ll be the first people I call.

Had the same problem as Gg M. here. I called and you get their voice mail. Wanted them to trim a very large laurel hedge that runs across the back yard of two houses. Never did call me back, that was 1.5 weeks ago. Just found out from the city forester today that my 70+ year old huge Silver Maple on my parking strip needs removal so I’m back on Unilocal looking for someone that can do the job. Won’t be calling these guys again. I suggest if they are that busy to hire an answering service…

Maybe a sign of too much success, but we never received a call as promised to set up an appointment after we called and the estimator was not in the office. Four days later… moving on. Wishing the rest of you a better response…

I had read other reviews before calling these guys, they were all correct!!! First of all, Alex arrived right on time when he was coming over to look at the job. They arrived the day of service early and make quick work of my old magnolia tree and other needed trimming! I could not recommend higher! Fantastic from start to finish!!!

My review is way overdue… I had Bridgetown Tree Service take out a tree that was about to fall on a neighbor’s fence in May 2013 and I thought they provided amazing service. After I tied off the tree to another big tree, seeing that it was leaning more and more over a course of a weekend, I made a bunch of calls asking for emergency quotes, late on a Saturday. Bridgetown got back to me within a few hours and offered to come out the next morning, which was Sunday. They arrived early and the estimate was so reasonable and the customer service so good that I just decided to hire them. Their affordability really does not reflect the service received. No other company called me until Monday. I did not have that much money at the time and was relieved at their quote for an emergency situation. The day the tree removal was supposed to happen I got stuck in traffic on my way home. I was a half hour late but the tree had already been chopped down and wood stacked neatly. I assume they were out extra early to get the job done since it was more than a 30 minute job.
I just called Bridgetown again for another round of quotes on work, so I would say I highly recommend these guys!

These guys were great. Showed up on time, stuck to the estimate, and did exactly what we needed. And the cost was considerably less than we were expecting. Really happy with the service we received.

What can I add that someone already hasn’t said, these guys rock! Alex was professional, prompt, clean and worked fast. I found his estimate to be the most reasonable too! They removed two evergreens and trimmed two other trees for me. I would use them again and feel comfortable recommending them here. Thanks guys!

The short and sweet? Another 5 star review. They are that good, and all companies should strive to be equally as good.
I had Bridgetown remove a huge Laurelwood ‘hedge’ that previous homeowners let grow to a height of 25 – 30 feet. The crew came out, cut them down and hauled away all the debris. They worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I hope that I never need their services again, but would highly recommend them if you are in need of tree trimming or removal.

These guys are GREAT! We got several other bids to remove 8 trees off our property that had started to block our, and the neighbors, views. Their bid was about half of what the other bids were and they did a fantastic job. We even had them take down two additional trees.
They made a huge mess during the removal, but when they left they had cleaned up all the wood chips and even put the lawn furniture back. I was very impressed!
Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Bridgetown Tree Service provided efficient and excellent service. We had them remove a large (400+ ft) cottonwood tree that was unfortunately planted far too close to our house and was starting to affect our foundation. The proximity and size of the cottonwood was going to be a challenge, and the number of quotes we received were reflective of that challenge. Bridgetown Tree Service was the most inexpensive quote we received; however, that affordability did not reflect in the service we received. All four men arrived early and set to work immediately, and it took them a whole morning (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) to complete the work. Our arbor vitae plants received some damage from the falling limbs, but the proximity of those plants to the cottonwood would have made it nearly impossible to avoid. We were not annoyed by this whatsoever.
We had contracted for tree removal, tree stump grinding (and decided to include 5 smaller bush stumps in the flower bed at the very last minute), and firewood removal/​hauling.
I will be using Bridgetown Tree Service again in the future to remove four blue spruce trees in our backyard.

well the reviews were correct! these guys were great. came out and gave us a bid, and then got the job done quick when we ended up hiring them. also, they cut and stacked the word for later. Alex was professional and great to work with. will recommend to others.

OK, 60 count them 60 nasty, half dead full of spiders and blocking the sun arbor vitae needed and quickly.
After much research I called 3 different services. Bridgetown showed up when they said they would to take a look and give us a bid. then we hired them they showed up with the green truck and it’s amazing how quickly the trees came down the roots were gone. My husband filmed what he could, by the time he realized what was happening they were almost entirely down. It might have taken a total of 2 hours start to finish, but more like 90 minutes.
They cleaned up and off they went.
Now I want to mow down the rest of the nasty bushes!
