By Design Pizza

This is the best «build your own» style pizza place that I’ve been to. Super delicious toppings, very quick, and very inexpensive. I’ve visited about 4 times now and the staff has always been pretty friendly.

The place was interesting. Has the feel of a beer pizza pub. Large 6 – 8 person tables which I guess are meant to be shared. The TVs are too high and are a little distracting. I wasn’t at the register so I don’t know if my friend was offered beer. But if it’s a «craft beer» kinda place we should’ve been given an upsell. Or offered a lunch beer special. The place was clean and neat. Would’ve been nice to be greeted.
We each had a veggie pizza (called the Rose Garden) and added extra things at no charge. One of us had the lunch special $ 6.50(?) for drink and a 6″ pizza. Or a drink and a sandwich or a drink and a salad. Anyway, not bad. A 6″ pizza is not enough for me but the cashier just changed mine to a lunch special and upgraded the price to the larger sizes. Nice! The manager came over to ask how everything was and came back again later. I don’t mean to gush but the pizza was really, really good. (I added peppercinis and spinach.) the crust was really thin. Almost like a cracker. I wouldn’t have ordered it that way, but I actually liked it. The salads were not meal size looking but turned out to be substantial. I liked it and will go back. I’m new to this part of town. When I searched delivery restaurants on google maps and Unilocal,it never pooped up. But I have a coupon offered by the manager and will order delivery soon!

Bought a groupon for this place and had lunch here today. I enjoyed putting together my own pizza and it was yummy! Pesto garlic base with onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, olives and green bell peppers, topped with Parmesan cheese. Service was okay. And breadsticks were just that, breadsticks. I’d still go back and make another pizza, it was yum!

There are pearl pizza and a medium size is perfect and it only took about five minutes to get. The staff is very friendly it’s a very relaxed atmosphere

I ate here on a regular basis when it was Pizano’s. The pizza was good and the service was lacking. The name has changed, the pizza is still good, but the service has gotten worse. Can’t believe I gave a tip. I won’t come back again. I don’t frequent business’ were the staff gives off the feeling that they are doing me a favor by serving me.

What really separates restaurants and food chains from each other besides quality is SERVICE… And let me tell you, this place is lacking that… Just the fact there is no line behind you and they make you feel rushed, or the lack of knowledge they have about their menu and products, makes me never want to return here. To top it off, the attitudes are just horrible and they do not communicate with each other at all.

The pizza as usual was great. The service was awful. The woman on the phone cut me off multiple times and was exceptionally short. I don’t just mean short but so rude I almost hung up and ordered from a shitty pizza chain.
Then I was shorted a pizza when they delivered and when I called back, the person who answered the phone asked if I would hold, set the phone down and proceeded to talk to someone else about why I was calling back because they just talked to me and other rudeness.

Great pizza for the price. Had a small problem but they took care of it and that’s what counts! :)

I have been to this place three times now. Each time, I have been very happy with the food. The restaurant is a build your own pizza type place like Pieology, which I love love love. Pizza By Design is slightly less expensive than Pieology, and the pizza is a bit better. The problem with Pizza By Design is the service. All three times I have been there, the staff have been unsmiling and unhelpful to the point of being rude. I never complain about bad service after just one visit to a place. We all have bad days, and I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt. Receiving the same unpleasant service three times in a row, though, tells me that this is just the way things are at this business. I won’t go as far as saying that I won’t ever return there, but it certainly won’t be my first choice at Cascade Station.

The pizza and beer was very good and reasonably priced. Great lunch special and happy hour on top of that. Was a little worried that the person making the pizza wasn’t wearing gloves, but while I was eating she did wash her hands a few times and put me at ease.

The staff is great. Food is awesome and you cannot beat the lunch special that runs until 5pm!!! Service and food is so good that I can’t see myself going anywhere else if I am nearby.

Great customer service, super friendly. Nice and clean restaurant. Pizza is the bomb. Even had a nice hard cider on tap. Great dinner! Wish we had one in Vancouver!

Decided to try this place for the 1^st time after they left a flyer on our door. Called for delivery and the girl on the phone spoke so fast you almost couldn’t understand her. Basically she seemed to try to rush me which gave me a bad impression of their customer service. We ordered a family size pizza and some «cheesee bites.» Word of advice: skip the cheesee bites– paid $ 2.25 for 3 which were smaller than the marinara cup and seemed like something that was made from Pilsbury canned dough. Overall the taste of the food was just average. I doubt I’d return.

Very nice place. Good atmosphere. You can watch sports, eat tasty pizza that you create by yourself, drink beer. I don’t know what is with negative reviews but I think the service is great!

No grand five-​star restaurant setting a little cold on the inside but they have outdoor seating too. Games on inside so they have TVs to watch. Foods… Big portion only eight bucks definitely four stars worthy, come on people. Not to mention the giant parking lot so it’s very convenient and then you can run all your errands afterwards! Oh yeah I will be back!

I am from out of town Texas, and made an order for delivery. The guy on the phone was super nice and accommodating and I needed good for for a good price. This is it!!! They delivered early!!! The pizza was delicious!!! The cheese bites with jalepenos not so good just bread with a jalepeno on it but everything else great!!! Thanks! :-)

When a delivery person brought the food, he insisted on taking down my credit card information even though they already had it from my having paid for it online when I ordered it. In effect, they stole my credit card information. I called the credit card processor to let them know of the violation of their merchant policy. Be aware that this business is openly taking down credit card numbers opening up the possibility for future fraud.
The food was blah.

I came here for lunch and ordered a honey mustard chicken flatbread and I loved it! It tasted fresh, tasted good, and was just enough of everything. I would come here for lunch again! And the price was good! I spent under $ 7 for lunch.
I know it’s known for pizza but I wasn’t feeling a pizza.

Aside from my pizza being crap the service was just as awful, the décor is nice though and it was timely. When serving hot food NEVER place it in front of a toddler… Its services 101 knowledge also… Bring your own air conditioner it’s hot

Had the flatbread Chicken Bacon Alfredo Sandwich and really enjoyed it. Place is new and looked clean, employees seemed to be figuring things out. Pizza looked good but didn’t try it. Gluten Free options available. 12 beers on Tap with three TVs on the walls with music playing. Table sizes ranged from 2 seaters to 8 seaters with a counter to sit at as well.
