Great local place with extremely good hearty food. Very friendly staff. Get the turkey BLT or the Mac n’ cheese!

South Portland, ME
This store has it all. Need a Duck Tour ticket? this is your place. Need an ice cream? Check. How about some chips, homemade baked goods, smokes, sandwich, drink, sewing kit, aspirin… Check, check, check.
My favorite is the turkey blt. Fresh roasted turkey hand picked and put on your sandwich. Delish.
The store is cramped, many items are not marked w prices, and can get crowded with only a few patrons but it’s a great staple spot on Custom House Wharf/​Commercial Street.

This is one of those places that doesn’t put prices on most of their drinks. Very annoyed when one is trying to decide what to buy for cheap and hydration. $ 2 for Gatorade and $ 1.25 for a Coke, I just wish I could have made a more informed decision on what to drink. They do have a nice selection of drinks, food, snacks, and other items.

Dying of thirst, I went looking for a store that wasn’t closed yet on a 7pm on Sunday. Casco definitely did the trick. They seemed to be the 7 – 11 of Commercial Street. The prices were good, and, a bit strangely, they have a whole section of hot sauces. The cashier was very nice, too. Lots of chips varieties and even a bit of beer.
