George will rip you off! Make sure you talk to him about the price up front.
My Landlord uses George for cleaning the carpets. I asked him if he could clean an old mattress with pet stains while he was at the house. He waved his wand on it for under 5 minutes and told me that it was clean but the stain wouldn’t come out! Then he charged me $ 100 dollars!!!
$ 100 dollars to wave a wand over an old mattress and he didn’t even get the stain out.
Luckily, George only got the chance to rip me off once. I will never recommend him to anyone.

George was great.
I had some pet damage and some wavy carpet from a bad original install.
They fixed the pet damage, restretched my carpets, and cleaned them.
The results were incredible.
I highly recommend Checkmate.

We have had Checkmate clean our carpets for 12 years. This particular time was the most soiled our carpets had ever been due to a new cat who had a flea product allergy and vomited all over and then clawed up some carpet in her confusion. Thankfully George fixed it ALL. He is a genius. Not only does he work to get the stains out, he notices ALL of them behind chairs and is incredibly thorough. He also repaired the carpet so that it looks like new. Honestly this man is a treasure. And so careful with the rest of the house– always puts up corner protectors, is careful with furniture, is very personable and such a nice job. Call this company and support a hard working quality local person.

This was the best carpet cleaning I could have asked for. He customized the job based on what my carpet needed. And he even did extra stuff. He was so easy going and friendly… I would easily recommend checkmate to all my friends and family! Our carpets are flawless… And before they were super stained with grease. Checkmate was awesome!!!

George who owns the company came out on Labor Day to clean my carpets. That certainly speaks volumes to me about his work ethic. He was enthusiastic, professional, fast, thorough and my carpets look great. Two thumbs up and more importantly he’s definitely getting my business again.

I didn’t need carpet cleaning, but my carpet had bunched up A LOT in the 4 years since it was installed and was in major need of stretching before I sold my house. George fit me into his schedule and did a great job — he had the perfect stretching tools and I don’t think that many others could have removed those major ripples as completely. I would definitely go backto Checkmate for Carpet Cleaning or any other service, just make sure to book a week or two ahead of time if possible as they seem to be pretty busy…

Our rental had some SERIOUSLY disgusting carpets that we never thought could come clean. Checkmate was timely, courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. Not to mention the most enthusiastic carpet cleaner I’ve ever met. AND the carpets look better than they have in years. I even hired him to clean my car upholstery while he was here!
