Great cider place with 20+ ciders on tap here in NW Portland. Excellent food choices on their self described ‘finite’ food menu. The bartender was also one of the owners, a really knowledgeable coder fan graciously allowed us to order food past the kitchen close time and let us stay past close to finish our fantastic food. Looking forward to introducing friends to this place in the near future!

I love this place! They have a really nice selection with a wide variety of ciders on tap. They also offer some small plates to snack on, even some vegan options. The staff are super nice and helpful. Their prices are way better than the Portland Cider House on Hawthorne. They update the taplist on their website daily and also do growler fills. You can buy growlers there as well. Seating for a large group isn’t great, but it’s kind of a small space. If you’re into cider, definitely check this place out!

WONDERFUL! Great service! Great Ciders! Great food! Very unique bar/restaurant that pays attention to details: purse hooks on tables and usb/outlets at bar! They are knowledgeable and took time to help us decide what to get for our 6 Cider flight! Chaider was my favorite! Cannot wait to come back! Cheers!

Cider Bite is a nice enough little cider joint with a good selection of ciders. It’s a small location, but they’re new kids on the block, and looks like they’re picking up steam within the neighborhood. THEHIGHLIGHTS. + Large selection of ciders from up and down the coast + Generous pours for the flights(8 oz tasters, I believe) + Friendly, knowledgeable staff I felt a little foolish recommending one of my favorite WA cideries because I saw they had a suggestion box, only to later realize it was a shredding machine, and they didn’t really care… soo that was not great, but for the most part, it was a nice time. It reminded me a little bit of Schilling’s up in Seattle, but on a smaller, less personal scale. Worth checking out!

Great place! One of the employees went through their entire list(23 ciders) and explained each one to us since we had said we prefer sweet ones. We got a flight of 6 ciders and thought all of them were pretty good. My personal favorites have to be the pineapple and gumption(their most popular). Overall, had a great experience!

Great little place to enjoy ciders, and to try many of them too! We ordered the 6 glass flight, of which Gumption and Fall Harvest I really enjoyed. FALL harvest tastes like apple pie and has a slight cinnamon flavor to it. Our server was very nice and attentive, and everything came out fast. Warning though, they are strict on having no minors in the restaurant, so don’t bother. Great place!

Love this spot. I got into cider this past year, and I’m so glad there’s a place like this in downtown Portland. The place is unpretentious, the cider list is vast, the owners are friendly, the new food menu seems pretty solid, and the prices(especially the flights) are totally reasonable. If they’re on tap, try the Slake and especially the Chaider.

Such a great spot! If you are just getting into the cider scene like I am, start your journey here. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and super-helpful if you tell them what kinds of flavors you like & the selection includes a great mix of local and national cideries. Real neighborhood ambiance and totally unpretentious — lacking in so many other spots in the Pearl. Get a taster tray of 4 to figure out what you like and then order a pint of your favorite one — my only suggestion is that they need to raise their prices for such a great selection and service :)

Finally a cider house in the Pearl District! 25 ciders on tap: variety, check. Quality ciders from companies like Woodchuck, 2 Towns, Ace, PDX Cider. Great service from knowledgeable and attentive servers. We will be back, growler in hand

The food is delicious! I had the tomato citrus soup. It had a cozy taste to it, if you will. I had the grilled cheese also. It had Brie and a delicious mustard and cranberry sauce. It was so good on this cold night. The variety of cider to choose from is fun. You can have an experience and do a flight or just have a pint. Any way you want to do it. The owners are good folks! I highly recommend trying it out!

I’m on a cider kick right now and this place in the pearl is the perfect spot to grab some cider without driving across town. Great cider selection(25 on tap) and food is coming soon per ownership!

I absolutely loved Cider Bite! We stumbled upon it while looking for a drink in the Pearl District. Waking in, the lobby was really small, but had a great atmosphere. We sat at a table and our server was awesome! He came and explained his favorite ciders as well as the crowd favorites. We all got the flights which was an awesome deal! My favorite was the Gumpkin but I also enjoyed the Pear and Pineapple. The service was great! Our server came back to ask which ciders we preferred and didn’t enjoy as well. I would definitely come back to try some new ciders! FYI– they have not advertised besides word of mouth so you may have not heard of it!

Amazing selection of cider, great choices, some well known and some I never heard of. The owners are both very nice and were helpful in selecting. The flights are a great deal, just a smidgen more then getting pints. The place is small and tables only seat 6. I hear they have food coming, very excited to go back and try some more ciders when they do get the food menu together. The cider menu just has names, no explanation of what’s in stuff though they answered questions about the 20 different beers I was considering! Ooh, try the alcoholic root beer if you haven’t had it before, it’s amazing! DONOT eat at the Italian place next door!

Great place to check out various ciders! They have 4 oz flights with a choice of either 4 or 6 ciders and they are very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is cool, trendy and modern. The owners are friendly, helpful and know their selections inside and out which is a huge plus when you need a recommendation or two. Stop in and check them out, you will be happy you did!

Tried a flight of cider and my favorite was the Gumption & Ginja Ninja! Definitely coming back, this place had great service, good advice on the many many types of cider on tap, and it was a nice change of pace from your usual bars!
