Lara Sydney Custom Framing

I was recently referred to this shop as I had a very sentimental piece of art that I wanted to have framed. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the work.
The listened to my needs, took time to give me advice, and worked within my budget. The outcome is simply beautiful and I am so happy. The frame compliments my art. I was so happy, they are working on another job for me with a piece from my office.
Finally, the shop is run by Lara and her mother. I fell in love with both of these two ladies. Not only are they extremely professional and good at what they do, they are the kindest souls and Portland is lucky to have their talent!

I purchased an original oil painting years ago but I was never in love with the frame. Lara helped me reframe the painting in a simple, comtemporary, but elegant frame and I now love it more than ever! I have purchased art from her gallery and Cynthia cleaned up an old 1906 original like new! Reasonably priced and a Pearl gem — they do it all (oh, and they ship too!). Thank you.

These ladies are framing professionals. It is not a cheap place and I wouldn’t go to them to frame a bunch of stuff you weren’t in love with. However, if you have a special piece or something you really care about, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They do a phenomenal job and they really make sure you’re happy with the result. Their selection of frames/​mats is pretty great and they’re very helpful when guiding you toward the best result (without being pushy).
They also appreciate customer loyalty. I got two large images framed there about a year ago, and spent a bit more than I’d hoped in the process. Went back in last week to have a couple of smaller pieces done and they gave me a truly killer deal, as well as a small piece of museum glass ($$$!) for free to replace in an existing frame where the old glass was missing.
I will definitely be back whenever I have something I care about that needs some framing love.

Beautiful gallery and the frame shop is awesome. They have a ton of choices and will provide guidance as you need it.
It’s expensive but if you’re particular about your framing this is a great place to find unique materials.
