I visited this place to find a comic book for my husband’s Christmas gift. I had little to no experience in the comic book world. The gentleman behind the counter was amazing in helping me find the perfect book. He was very knowledgeable, a good listener, and had no problem explaining things to me. I found the perfect comic book with his help!

Most comic shops are very similar in that they focus mainly on moving current comics, and if they have a back catalog its an added bonus. Cloud 9 separates itself from the pack by showcasing back-​issues and catering to the hard-​core collector. If you have gaps in your collections from 60’s-90’s you have a pretty good chance of either finding it here, and if not, the staff could more than likely procure it for you. Its really important to know going in that you aren’t going to find any rack of fresh monthlies, but you might find yourself down a rabbit hole on memory lane. This is one of very few boutique comic shops that deal in a steady flow of golden and silver age books, so if that’s what you need, here is where to go!

Cute little comic shop among a variety of other boutiques and restaurants that seems to complement the neighborhood vibe well. The selection is fantastic: from vintage collectibles from the golden age to various cheap $ 1 issues, anyone could find something to pick up. We personally got a couple of series for about $ 8/​series and were not disappointed. Items were in great condition. The true standout of this establishment is the owner who is very friendly and easy to chat up. Check this place out!
