Daily Double Inn

Not only is this the epitome of a dive bar, one of the bartenders is a thief. I paid $ 10 for my shot and Matt never gave me my change. When I ordered 2 more shots, I figured he would take it out of the $ 10 he already took. Well, he insisted that I pay for the 2 shots because he had already given me my change. He didn’t. He’s a thief and running a scam. The other bartender confirmed he’s known for this type of issue. He’s had other complaints of the same nature. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!

So yes, it’s a dive bar. And no, there ain’t NOTHIN fancy about it. That said, I live two blocks away and this is my perfect place for a quick walk to get a pint. They always have a couple of good beers on tap — I just had a Lagunitas IPA — as well as hard ciders, plus the usual Coors and Bud. Their appetizers aren’t from scratch, but they are hot and their fries are pretty damn good. They have a little beer garden for the summer months, and it’s literally right next to a stop for bus 77. Can’t beat that. And speaking only for the women, the bathroom has always been clean. Again, can’t.beat.that.
My daughter and I try to get there when she’s home from school, and it was her choice for her first (legal) drink when she turned 21 — I bought her a shot of Jack. Thumbs up.

My requirements were:
1.Looking for a mellow dive to sing Karaōke on a Friday night
2. Reasonable prices
3. Edibles
What I wasn’t thrilled with were the abundant fruit flies, smell of rotting fruit and the bartender who forgot to give me my change from my drink. I paid with a $ 20, and stood there… waiting…finally she came back and I reminded her. Oops!
All those prerequisites were adequately met. The Hawaiian pizza was very edible and under 9 $. 5 $ for my Jameson on da rocks, .30 $ for a mixer (wtf?). Karaōke was cool as hell, I’m sure it helped that my friend was hosting it.
The kinda weird stuff that was a bit abnormal, even for a dive bar. The dude falling off his stool twice, kinda dicey. I dunno, this place just didn’t work for me.

It’s a dive, nothing special about this place but the beer is cold and there are usually interesting people coming and going.
Wish they had a fryer for food cause all they have is beef sticks and microwave pizza.

Stop in this place because I was early meeting a friend at his house. And well lol kinda dirty, my beer was flat, not good !! So i guess is my review is keep driving to the next place. Sorry but not a very good little dive bar
