After further testing, I have found a product better suited to my needs. Readers should try more than Bach and Monette. There are many more choices out there with better design. Try this and other equipment.

David Monette and the artisans at his shop here in Portland make the finest trumpets in the world. While I play trumpet — somewhat how Jack Benny played the violin — I will never be able to afford a Monette trumpet. I first leaned of David Monette when I saw and heard Jazz trumpeter Irvin Mayfield play his Elysian trumpet.
The Elysian trumpet was created by Monette for Irvin Mayfield and the city of New Orleans after the devastation of hurricane Katrina. It is a stunning work of art that was designated a national treasure and never travels without an armed escort. Watching and hearing Irvin Mayfield play it was truly a memory I will cherish.
Many of the top trumpeters in the world play Monette trumpets, and it has become a bit of a tradition for them to offer small group concerts in the Monette factory. Check the website for events.
