Great grilled sandwiches, Batman! My favorites at this colorful cart are the breakfast fried egg sandwiches, but all of the ones that I have had have been very tasty. The sandwiches are grill-pressed panini bread delights(they also offer gluten-free wraps and vegetarian Caesar salads, but I have yet to sample those) made with(I believe) Grand Central bread that is just fantastic. Not too thick or chewy crust and perfectly light and flavorful. Service is always super friendly and nice.

As a devotee of the Red Bike Café’s(RIP) delicious breaky sandwiches, I’ve been blue with no satisfying alternative since they closed. Well, hello, Dino Bite! Am a li’l hesitant to tell folks about it, because I had the whole cart to myself today and it was a serious treat. Here’s how it goes, foccacia bread(sounds heavy, but it wasn’t) breakfast sammies with perfectly-cooked eggs and toppings(both meaty and veggie options). Unpretentious, filling, a serious bargain($ 6! for a giant sandwich), super quick(had my meal in 6 minutes) and in the NoPo neighborhood. What could be better? The owner said she sources all ingredients locally, makes her own spreads(like the awesome black bean business on the veggie breakfast sandwich), has gluten-free options(although the signage didn’t brag about any of that and maybe should). Already girding my loins to be a regular of this place.
