Stay away! When my husband and I began working with staff at Distinctive Tile, we were treated as if we were an imposition. From there, we waited over THREE-MONTHS for our tile to arrive. When it finally arrived, we learned there was a miscommunication and additional materials needed to be ordered for our very small project As I write this review, we are still awaiting delivery and installation.
Lastly, tile selection is vast, but prices are very inflated. We were *not* supported to find tile options within our price point. Thankfully, our kitchen designer did.
Between our kitchen design team, contractor, electrician, plumber and painters who did our major kitchen and home renovation, Distinctive Tile was definitely the weak link. Poor customer service.

Like the other reviewer, I also fell in love with Distinctive Tiles products and selection! A virtual candy store for the selective homeowner! We are building a new home and I specifically wanted New Ravella tiles — expensive and hard to find. I have stopped in twice and tried to schedule an appointment — my overall impression was that I was bothering them.
I’ve called twice (too busy to answer during business hours — ok but they assure you they will call back) and it’s now been 3 business days with no response. I too will go to Old Port Specialty Tile which carries what I want but with a product Distinctive Tile doesn’t carry — CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I am giving it the two stars only because of the selection. Over three years I have attempted to do business with this establishment but it appears they can not be bothered. You must need an appointment because people get very annoyed if you ask for help. One woman even said «I am busy» not… «Let me get somebody to help you» when somebody did come over to help she could not be less interested and could offer no design help or alternate tile suggestions. I went over to old port tile in middle street and was warmly welcomed and helped.

I cannot begin to describe the amount of gorgeous tile available here. It is hard to find this many choices under one roof. Yes, they do carry some pricey items, depends on the vendor and materials. But I also know from experience there are a ton of really affordable options as well-it just depends on what you are looking for. I have created some modern bathrooms as well as traditional kitchen backsplashes all from distinctive tile. Honest, reliable company!
