DocuMart

I’ve been taking print jobs to Documart at 101 SW Main for years, since I worked at the World Trade Center across the street. I was always a happy camper:
–Fast service
–They followed my instructions
–Got it right the first time
–Great prices
Occasionally, my file had an error or the formatting was wrong, and they always alerted me there was a problem right away.
I got accustomed to great service and frankly started taking it for granted. I figured this these jobs were easy peasy … anyone could do it.
Until… a career move took me across town and I tried a printer that was close by. And then another. And another. Oh my. The work didn’t turn out nearly as good. Once it was awful. I always paid more. Sometimes a LOT more.
The people behind the counter weren’t nearly as friendly and eager as the two ladies at the Main Street Documart.
Today I went back. Sure, it was out of my way, and I passed a lot of printers en route.
But I was not disappointed.
As far as I’m concerned, they’re in a class all their own. Seriously.

I can confidently say that Documart is the best printing service I have ever been to. They pulled through for me when I was in a bind, and ended up making my manager very happy, which in the end works very well for me.
I have utilized Documart’s services a few times, mostly for last minute work assignments that the office printer could not handle on its own. In fact, the print jobs I attempted with our office printer (Pacific Automation, FYI) caused the printer to just shut down. Wow, let me tell you, that did not make me any office friends. Anyways, in one scenario, I had to print 10 50-​page manuals, 10 50-​page booklets that had various sized paper in it, and print about 20 blueprints, all by the next morning. When the office printer just shut off on me around 4pm, I immediately called Documart and asked them if they would be able to finish the job for me. The woman on the phone said yes and I ran the originals over to the shop. Sure enough, she calls me back at 11am the next morning, letting me know that the print job is done, and that it ended up costing much less than what she originally quoted me. Now if that isn’t good service, I don’t know what it is. I mean, have you been to one of the FedEx Office Print centers? Or something similar to that? Those places are really awful. In my experience, printing there is costly and inconvenient.
Documart seems to run smoothly, professionally, and affordably.

I’ve been working with Documart on a regular basis for almost two years and every time I’m blown away by their customer service. Cathy is always sweet and pleasant when she answers the phone, and helps get the ball rolling on any project I bring to the table. RD delivers our orders and is always friendly and helpful — carrying items up our stairs, and getting them delivered in a timely manner. Most importantly, Lesley is my rock. I’m nothing without her, and I’m not exaggerating. She is a machine and her work ethic is admirable. When I have a project that is last minute she executes it beautifully, and doesn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. Lesley knows what she’s doing and really goes out of her to make it happen for the customer. I don’t Unilocal, but something needs to be said for this team of people. 1^st impression I thought these ladies were awesome. got all of our business cards from there and realized every business card was wrong, which really isn’t that big of a deal people make mistakes. so we go back there and asked them if they could redo them and they said they would but it would be full price. I asked them why would it be full price if you guys printed them wrong? and they said because we sent you an email of the finished product and you confirmed them, I said I don’t remember getting a confirmation email with finished product can I see the email. the lady looked on her computer for it then laughed said I screwed her and said It was a phone confirmation and then threw the business card papers at me… it was very unprofessional and my feelings were very hurt because i was being very nice about the whole situation and then got papers thrown in my face for getting a refund.
