Door of Hope

I love this church! The services are meaningful and very educational. The pastors are very knowledgeable and amazing!
The music is soulful, meaningful, and original! You can always sing along!
People are friendly, approachable, and have great energy!
Service on Sundays are at 5pm and 7pm!

Door of Hope is one of the best Churches I’ve ever been to – free stumptown coffee, nice people, really casual setting, awesome worship music, child care, and Jesus-​centered teaching. It’s really cool how both of the pastors are so committed to preaching from the Bible and don’t get into a lot of the culture wars that is typical of so many other churches.
The one thing that was a little intimidating at first is how big it is, so it’s easy to feel like a face in a crowd if you’re used to a small home church like me, but the people are really friendly once you introduce yourself. The pastors are both really approachable too, which is not my experience even in smaller churches, so I thought that was really cool.
All in all, I love this church.

This is a really unique church community. The music is original, interesting, and authentic. Much different than any church you have ever experienced! The pastor speaks from the heart and I found the message to be direct and insightful (he does talk a little quickly when he gets excited). Gatherings are Sundays at 6pm and Thursdays at 7pm.
They have audio files and a bunch of info online if you want to check it out before you attend.
eta: I *almost* want to subtract one star because the chairs are so uncomfortable! but we got over that.
