I was in this store today. I felt harassed by the staff. There were 5 staff people in the store and they watched me like I was prey waiting to interject commentary. The whole time I am trying to shop I was interrupted with weird small obnoxious chit chat. I work retail I get it but I felt the insincere script style intrusive questions really uncomfortable. It was way over the top. While my husband was in the changing room I got to listen to the manager person (yikes) give these 4 other employees helpful tips (Barf) for selling product to customers. He sounded like a used car salesman or some carny workers trying to separate patrons from their money. It was a really creepy thing to witness. The greeter/​salesperson Kelly would not get the hint and did not pick up on my please stop talking at me face. She went on and on and on I couldn’t get away from her. Finally after shaking her another employee tried that too. I had to say «Look we are fine. Thank you» in a very aggressive back the heck off tone for this guy to go away. The whole time we were there a very loud buzzer was going off every time the front door opened and there were two sets of doors. It was like a really funny movie where periodically someone comes up in a pleasantly quite space and sounds an air horn. We get to the register with one item even though we were wanting several things, we just had to get the hell out. The group of 5 gathered at the register scattered like roaches when we walked up. The register person gave me attitude when I would give her my cell phone number. Really uncomfortable experience. It’s disappointing that I felt harassed so hard. I am a big man and need bigger clothes. I will not go back at least for a few months. I am sure there will be rapid turn over.

Brittany was nothing but charming, courteous and professional. I was impressed with the large AND stylish selection. I’ll definitely be going back thanks to excellent customer service.

Stopped by for a dress shirt last night and was totally surprised at the selection of name-​brand clothes. And not just suits like Men’s Warehouse, but sports and casual wear as well.
As another poster mentioned this a profound improvement over Casual Male XL.
The service was also outstanding. George helped me and he did his job well and competently. I did not feel pressured to over-​buy as is the case with Men’s Warehouse — just the shirt I needed.
And did I mention the GREAT selection? If you’re a fat guy like me or just big, DXL is your huckleberry.

Kelley is AMAAAAAAZING, as is the rest of her staff. She is patient, answers questions, makes suggestions and will call if something new comes in she thinks is your style. If she doesn’t have it, she happily with order it for store delivery. Fabulous customer service. Kelley and her staff exemplify customer service. Never pushy or in your face and pressuring you to buy stuff, but we never walk out empty handed. Loyal customers!

Such an improvement over the old Casual Male XL. Better location, larger selection, and it smells of fresh cut cedar when you enter. FRESH CUT CEDAR! Other department stores might have better prices for their big and tall selection, but their selection sucks, sizes are off, and lack quality. The staff here is great. Not overly sales-​y but willing to help you with whatever you need.
This is a fat guy shopping must.

After a very negative experience at the Jantzen Beach store, I was beyond thrilled to find Ms Kelley Joyce managing this store. I am a long time customer of hers when she was at the Casual Male store. She’s always been kind to me, and in spite of my «pudgy» exterior, she’s treated me like a normal sized fella. That goes a long way in my book.
I visited recently to buy a suit for my daughters wedding, and a tie to match my wifes mother-​of-​the-​bride dress. Kelley found the perfect combination, and its now being tailored. I want to give my compliments to their Tailor as well. The whole staff of this store creates a very welcoming environment. I’ll definitely be back.
