Love the in & out convenience of this store. Parking sucks in the Summer but it’s cool other than that. The employees here are nice and also schooled me on the prices… they always go up on the first of the month

The staff here are very friendly and professional. Plus, the store is a little larger than most of the other stores around, so there’s a pretty good selection. Prices seem to be the same as anywhere else.

I love this place, I have been consistently going here for all my alcohol needs for over the past year. I’ve had no probably obtaining SinFire Whiskey, Vinn Rice Vodka, and other local made Vodkas made locally in ORegon among other things. When I first started coming here they used to have a «local section» and that was really cool in my book, but unfortunately they changed it now. And, the the rearrangement they still have the same local whiskeys and such, but they are just in the coordinating section by type of liquor. THey have great customer service and area really helpful here. And, the coordinate donation efforts to the Oregon Humane Society which is awesome in my book.

It’s a liquor store. I can walk to it. I go there when I need liquor — mostly, unless I need something special, then I go to whatever store is stocking it that day.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Went in on New Years eve and there were a ton of people there, which meant it was crouded albeit not too bad a wait since there were four clerks… however parking was not in large supply and I was lucky to find a spot. Other than that, average prices and selection. No idea why someone would think it would be run by Russians.

Professional dilemma: It’s the last day of the year. We need Monopolowa and Johnnie Walker Red to compliment the evening’s activities of Monopoly and ducking the inevitable amateur night going on everywhere else. And for one reason or another, we end up at the Eastport Liquor Store where, as we wait to turn into the store parking lot, we witness a driver in a light blue Camry cut off the south-bound cars on 82nd to barrel in there first. Then the driver blocks the driveway to claim the spot of a slow-moving SUV. But that’s not the dilemma. That’s just your garden variety asinine behavior. The dilemma comes in the rather long line at the liquor store, when we see the driver of the light blue Camry ahead of us with one hand full of Skye vodka and the other full of an infant in a carrier. «Hey, even moms need to get tanked on New Year’s Eve,» says the sweetheart. So here’s my dilemma: Do I call Child Protective Services now or do I wait until the kiddo’s experienced numerous violations of her own safety? Which, if the driver is a regular at Eastport Liquor, will probably happen sooner or later? I don’t have an answer here. All I know is that if you see a lady with a baby taking swigs off a giant blue bottle of Skye this New Year’s Eve, then I think you know what her New Year’s resolution ought to be. Anyway, the 6.95 pints of Monopolowa probably mean I should resolve to not throw shoes in any glass houses I find myself visiting.

Eh, they got all that new inventory in but they still don’t have all that awesome of a selection compared to Pearl Specialty, Uptown, and Rose City. I definitely can’t fault them for playing to the local market, but as far as liquor stores go relatively — it’s back down to A-OK 3-stars for me. Read below for more…

Considering the neighborhood I was hopeful for some nouveau riche Russian diaspora fantasy, all fur hats and ornate mirrors and a wall of vodka. Instead, I got soft 70’s R&B and perfectly coiffed white-haired gentlemen in brown suits. I suspect this place moves a lot of Drambuie. As easy stop if you’re already on the way to the Eastport movie theater, or the Holgate Library, but not worth a drive to BFE82nd.
