Best taco I ever had. Not much of a food cart person but El Nutri is worth the exception

Has there been a change in management? They used to always be open, the food was better. What’s happened?

El Nutri Taco is delicious and affordable. As a vegetarian I’m not used to having options when I eat somewhere, so I get a little overwhelmed when I go here. It’s awesome!

Best Mexican! Great location, very friendly service. They do take a little bit to make the food, but it’s worth it. I like that they have covered seating available for wonderful Oregon weather.

This is my favorite burrito cart. I used to live nearby and would stop in at least once a week. I like the Chencho as it can be vegan and not a soy bomb. The chimi is also amazing though enough for 2.

VERYVEGANFRIENDLY… So many options on the menu. We especially appreciate the Chencho’s burrito. Also worth mentioning are their vegan nachos. They are fantastic. Every time we order the food comes hot and fast. Watch out for their homemade hot sauces, that stuff should come with a warning. Bottom line — It’s a food cart parked in the driveway of a residential property on the south side of Woodstock a couple blocks east of 82nd. There is no indoor seating, of course, but there are several picnic tables, some of them covered, if you want to eat on site. Kudos to the staff for making El Nutri Taco our FAVORITE!

I just found out that this place even existed and I am so glad I did! I don’t even know where to begin! I love that they have vegan, vegetarian, and meat options, as I am more of a vegan/vegetarian and my husband is definitely a meat eater. We have tried the Gigante Burrito, Fajita Burrito with avocado, Wet Burrito with beef, and Gaby’s Enchilada. All amazing. I haven’t tried the avocado sauce yet, but I am definitely going back to try it with something. Check out this place and I promise you will not regret it!

I live literally a 5 minute walk away from some of the best burritos I have EVER had. A side of chipotle aioli with a breakfast burrito is basically the greatest thing for a hangover. The Fantastico(SPELLING) is another favorite if mine. HELLLLYA

The best al pastor taco in portland, no doubt. Does take 20 min to get it, and i don’t care.

Ordered a potato taco(which for a place that«specializes» in vegetarian options, was the only veggie taco that wasn’t fake meat) and received a chicken taco. Was refused sauce for my taco bc my BF got sauce and«they only give limited amounts for tacos.» The chicken was obviously low quality and cheaply sourced. The taco was plain and dry. Oh, and only vegetarian tacos get tomato… Will never return.

My mind is blown. Top 5 street tacos I’ve ever found in Portland, no doubt in my mind. If you disagree, message me suggestions. A little smaller size taco than most you’ll find, but so damn tasty. Cilantro was noticeably fresh, seems like they grow it on-site. I should’ve ordered 6 instead of 5. I should note, I’m a street taco fiend. I think I’m in love. Great spicy hot sauce as well. I feel like a sucker because I used to live walking distance from it, but never ventured to the other side of 82nd(because why would you, ever?). Huge veggie menu, but with how superb the pollo and carnitas were, can’t imagine going that route. Service was friendly. If you find yourself disappointed that the Portland Mercado doesn’t have taco options, this gem is waiting nearby. Go!

It has been over a year and GOODGODTHISPLACEISAMAZING. No matter what you get, put avacado sauce all over that biz. You won’t regret it. This is a place for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores to unite over delicious food. Don’t let the location fool you. It is literally in their front yard.

It didn’t live up to the hype at all. Sure, I lived in Denver for awhile and that might have something to do with my extremely high standards for burritos — but it just wasn’t as good as many burritos that I’ve had in the past. It wasn’t nasty or anything — but it definitely wasn’t something I’d ever have again.

YO! How can you not like the El Nutri food cart?! That vegan verde chimichanga, holy sheeeiit! No really, though. Always a pleasant experience. Run by such nice folks. And that verde sauce ughhh. Now I’m hungry.

Awesome food for vegan /vegetarians! For years we went to Los Gorditos and while they’re great, this place is much better! The service was awesome! The guy was beyond pleasant and always a smile on his face! The food was truly top notch! We live pretty far and don’t mind the almost hour long drive once in a while when my wife doesn’t want to cook or we just need to get out! We’re extremely picky with almost all food, but this place truly is worth the effort, especially if you’re vegan!

Guacomole!!! Finally! I know it’s not traditional but I love it. After years of asking, finally we have guacomole to go with the amazing avocado sauce. Best tacos! Avocado sauce is heaven! Great service. Quality food. Very fast. A must try if your in the are:)

The service was great, paired with good food. This place has the option for homemade soyrio; i recommend that instead of the bought one. The texture was very pleasant, as well as the taste: overall, best soyrizo i have tried. Their soy curls need a bit more work, the fluffy chewiness was lost. There were lots of substitution options for vegans an vegetarians. Absolutely must try the vegan mushroom quesadia. Made with diya cheese, this was the highlight of the meal! Though i dislike mushrooms and try to avoid them, this made my mouth water for more. 5 stars to the quesadia: D

So I have never been a huge fan of burritos, but now living near this food cart for about a week and a half has found me standing outside its windows at least 7 out of the past 10 days for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have vegan, veggie, and meat options, so the possibilities are many. As far as breakfast is concerned, I’ve tried both the feliz and the lazy burritos. They are tasty but I prefer those on the other parts of the menu. The Gabby’s Low Fat Burrito, the Fantastico Burrito, and the fajita burrito are all delicious(the fajita is def my fave). I also got a side of cactus my first visit, and it was pretty yummy. The ladies that work here are also so nice, and I always walk away from here smiling. I have a feeling I’m going to be spending a lot of money here…

El Nutri is the best thing about my neighborhood! I eat there a couple times a week now… because it’s so delicious and so inexpensive! The people who make your food are very sweet and do a really great job. but the prices are what really keeps me coming back. Oh… and the size of the burritos! Talk about gigantic! They definitely can be split into two meals and taste great reheated too. If you are able to plan ahead, call in your order because they are busy. so there’s always multiple orders being cooked. But the wait has never been too long. The vegan options are endless! Finally!!! Good vegan Mexican food! Thank you El Nutri! We love you!

I couldn’t be happier to go pull up to someone’s front lawn and eat. These guys are legit — some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Their burritos are gigantic and inexpensive, and they have so many different kinds of meat offerings it’s hard to choose. And on the vegan side they have a ton of meat alternative options as well, more than any other vegan Mexican place I’ve been to. I’ve never been a huge fan of onions on tacos or in burritos but El Nutri grills them perfectly and they taste great on both. Their chorizo/soyrizo tacos are excellent. And once again I have to talk about the value — burritos can be as cheap as $ 4 there with the meat/bean/cheese burrito that’s delicious, and the larger burritos are enough food for two meals. Really nice people too. What a great place for Portland overall.
