I think ELS is good for people who want to study grammar and writing. Even though ELS tuition is madly expensive, they have good teachers and great environment. Another good thing is the school is very rigorous. If a student couldn’t pass their final exam, they won’t go to next level. So that make students study hard.
Anyway, the language school is located in university campus so, you have many chances to make American friends. Also, the school have a lot of activity for students.

I think that I made a good choice to study in ELS language school Portland as I met fabulous friends, fabulous teachers, and fabulous environments.
You can take lessons from 8:30 to 15:50.
Moreover, you will not only study English but also have fun because this school have a lots of activities for students. For instance, traveling, shopping, and watching NBA games.

ELS is definetly the best english school in Portland. In my opinion, «family» is the perfect word to describe it. There is nothing better than feeling happy and confident when you are learning especially a different language, and every person in this schools makes you feel that every day. Awesome school, Awesome friends, and Awesome teachers.
You can use many facilities from Concordia university such as, library, gym, computer room.
It is a good place for learning English.

Davis, CA
ELS is the baddest language center in the world. Most expensive tuition in the United States, 2,000 just ONE session (almost 20 days one session), but teach ability just so so. It seems like rob money from students. Go to ELS center is the most awful decision I’ve made in my life. The only positive thing about ELS is Jacob, who is a teacher in this center. He is awesome teacher.
But I recommend that you go to another English program. No ELS, better life!
