Enterprise Rent-A-Truck

I rented the Isuzu 16′ box van. Great truck, drives like a dream and great mileage. Talk to Seth, he is very helpful.

This would be a 1 star rating if it wasn’t for Matt and Tyler that saved the 2^nd star. I had been trying to line up a rental truck for 3 weeks since mine would be in the shop and they never had a truck for me to get into when I called. On one Friday at 3:00pm they did call me and said they have 1 truck but that they close on at 5pm. When I said I need to be picked up at the body shop the young lady, Jillian, said they don’t leave after 3pm to do pick-​ups and delivery since they are hourly employees. She did say they were open from 8am — 11am on that Saturday.
On Saturday my wife and I drove our newborn in two different cars to pickup the rental truck. I called at 10:45 saying we were running a few minutes late and would be there close to 11:05, but no one answered the phone. My wife and I got there at 11:03 and there was not a soul there nor was there any evidence that they even opened the store.
I called on the following Monday and they again didn’t have any trucks? What happened to the truck that was there on Saturday? They rented it out they told me. How do you rent a truck out when you haven’t been open but for 5 minutes?
Finally, Matt and Tyler took over this process after waiting for 3 weeks for me to get my truck into the shop. They not only met me at 3pm at the dealership, the took me back to their shop to do the paperwork. Jillian saw me in the office and really just look like she couldn’t be bother to do with customers. FYI Jillian you are in the customer service game!
When I returned my truck at noon on a Thursday, I had to deal with Jillian who was just less than helpful and she said they would have someone take me to the dealership. The gentleman that took me back to the dealership, didn’t know where he was going. He played his music so loud that we were getting looks from other drivers at the stop lights. The driver also drove like he was racing someone, slamming on the gas when the light went red but then standing on the breaks at red lights. Once at the dealership, I was waiting my vehicle to be brought around and the driver started to drive off with my child’s safety seat and computer in the truck. The body shop and I both had to run out the stop him from leaving.
This location had the worse customer service other than Matt and Tyler. Stay away from them!!!

The staff at this location is awesome! The Sandy location dropped the ball on our wedding day rental (see review on their page). As frustrating as the situation was, the Columbia location really tried to make it right and remained professional and friendly the entire time. Maybe they could teach he staff at the other location a thing or two!
