I decided to use this company since it was close to my home and I was only trying to move one large piece of furniture in town which seemed like a simple enough task. First thing I noticed is their mileage pricing was a bit more than some of the other companies. Then the next day after I returned the truck they tried to tell me I used half a tank of gas which was incorrect as I maybe used at most ²⁄₈ so now I have an extra fueling fee and fee for the gas itself tacked on (over $ 40) to contest with the company. I’ll never use these guys again. Not only not UHAUL but not this location in general either.

I rented a trailer from this location in 2008 to move across the country. The owner was very nice and helpful while I was renting the trailer.
Once I got to Pittsburgh and opened my trailer I realized that they had rented me a horribly leaky trailer. I estimated my water damage at over $ 600 and tried to file a claim with my insurance. I immediately called this location and the very friendly gentleman who even remembered me on the phone became extremely rude and condescending as soon as I mentioned that the trailer he rented me had leaked. He just kept repeating that I had to take it up with UHaul and it wasn’t his problem. His language and conversational preparedness let me know that he had been in this situation before.
Because of the contract language, I wasn’t able to make a claim against UHaul. After this experience I checked general reviews of UHaul and realized I had made a mistake going with this company in the first place. Never again. I personally recommend Penske.
