My family and I had a great time. We could not escape the room but still a great experience. We are 5 adult and 2 kids, so it is friendly for all ages. For sure I will try another escape room.

We did this as a family and had a great time! The theme was really fun and the puzzles were challenging. As a business, they were friendly, organized and professional. We loved every minute of it and are planning to do their other rooms!

I just completed this escape room with a group of friends (5 total), and it was a great experience!
We completed the room with about 8 minutes left after receiving about 3 clues. I really enjoyed the puzzles in this escape room as they were pretty logical once you figured out the trick.
Everything that we weren’t supposed to touch was clearly marked, and they were pretty clear about the boundary rules for the game.
You make your booking online via their webpage. Plan on coming about 5 minutes early.
This is the third escape room that I’ve done (1 of which was in MD, and one of which was in Beaverton but via a different company), and it was by far the best of the lot. I’m looking forward to trying out Escapism’s other rooms!

I went here for a work team celebration earlier this week, and it was so fun and a great team activity! All 6 of us were actively engaged the entire time, anxious to solve the puzzle. It was challenging without being frustratingly impossible. I, along with all of my coworkers, definitely want to do it again!

Entertaining all the way through! Highly recommended! I contacted all of the escape rooms in Portland to make plans for a large group. Escapism, by far, had the best customer service in advance and was extremely willing to accommodate us. The puzzles were well-​designed and built with ingenuity. All 9 people in our party were engaged for the whole hour. I loved that Escapism gives unlimited and sometimes gratuitous clues to guide you through, so there’s never a dull moment. Can’t wait to try their other rooms!

LOVE IT. It is a wonderful experience for puzzle lovers wanting to up their game. It was definitely challenging and clever, and I cannot wait to go to their other rooms in the future! The hosts do an AMAZING job setting the atmosphere and the rooms themselves are full of great props and puzzles. :)

So much fun! I did this with a group of four and it was a great size for this room. It was challenging, thrilling, and full of surprises! We had done Zylchov’s which was also fantastic and there was no overlap in puzzles or clues at all. I highly recommend doing all of Escapism’s rooms, they do it right! Can’t wait to try their new spot. Also, Ryan is the best!

This escape room is brilliant. It feels cheesy to say something is fun for all ages. But that’s what this was. I did it with friends in their mid 20s and had so much fun I came back with my parents and their friends in their 60s when they visited Portland. I know lots of parents bring younger kids too.

If you think there’s nothing fun to do in Portland and you’re sitting on the couch wondering how you’ll get through one more beer festival, look no further than Escapism. A unique experience that will engage even the harshest skeptic. I know because two of our group were just not looking forward to the game. 5 minutes into it and they were enthusiastic participants. Working as a group and with a few hints, we were able to finally escape the room. So much fun and looking forward to trying out the lab next time. The puzzles were not easy and definitely challenged us. Try out this unique experience once and you’ll be hooked.

This was kind of a surprise activity — fun with a group of smart people, pretty tricky activity fun. It does have a time limit, but it is ok to ask for clues.

This was a great Father’s day present. Took in my daughter, son and two son-​in-​laws to do the ritual room. The Room and puzzles were very well thought out and very well implemented. Succeeded it in 53 minutes with no hints. Well done folks. Would not have done nearly as well by myself, these kids really impressed me. Good for older kids (ages 9 and up).

This was fun and worthwhile! I saw it on a friend’s facebook page and was intrigued. I convinced 7 other friends to join me, not knowing what to expect. I wasn’t sure if it was gonna be kinda dorky like a dungeons& dragons thing, but it was really cool, it was like a gigantic riddle where the boundaries were a bit unclear. I think our group was a few minutes longer than an hour, but we mainly solved it and managed to escape the room! It was a fun team building activity, working together and communicating and figuring stuff out. We got to work together and collaborate and do something productive. The idea of eacape rooms has caught on from Europe, but it is totally a Portland-​esque thing to do!
