I usually prefer to do my own gel nails because I’m a perfectionist and a lot of times feel like I can do a better job. I like to occasionally splurge to have them done, but hate when I spend the money and am not happy with how they turned out.
I went here for the first time this week and had my nails done by Michelle. She did an AWESOME job. I wanted hearts for Valentine’s Day, which she did perfectly. She also did 3 coats of each color and sealed the edges. I will definitely come back.

I’ve been here several times, but the past few visits have been bad.
Also a cockroach fell in my hair in the bathroom when I tuned on the light on my last visit. I saw it fall out and scurry under the dirty bath mat. Never going back… Can’t be barefoot in a cockroach den…
Not to mention the last 3 shellac manis only lasted a week. I went back for a fix once (the gel fell off 2 nails the next day due to a July 4^th rush job), but they were too busy.
Mary is the only great tech. Lee is skilled too, but such attitude. I usually get one of the other techs that make me bleed or are super rough with the file. Appointments are just for show as well. They dont have any queuing strategy that I can decipher.

This is now my go-​to salon for relaxation and mani-pedi’s. They are professional, thorough, and I always get a great mani-​pedi, Relaxing décor, soft music, great massage chairs, efficient service. And, they have frequent sales and Groupons.

My friend and I went here on a Groupon deal for reflexology. It was nowhere near anything similar to reflexology. I was put in an uncomfortable1970s vinyl recliner while a very old woman did a pseudo-​massage on my head, feet, hands, and forearms. Then, she wrapped my hands and feet in baggies filled with paraffin. Frankly, I am still shocked by the deceptiveness of their misuse of the term, reflexology.
In addition, I had a pedicure prior to the above treatment. I was assured that it would be fine and my painted toenails would not be ruined. That was a lie. Also, I brought my own pedicure tools set for the pedicure and the technician refused to use them, despite my requesting it of him several times.
Finally, every person who worked here was pushy and rude.
DO NOT give this business your money.

This is my favorite nail salon and I am a regular. The salon doesn’t smell, it’s well-​maintained and has a good relaxing ambiance. The staff are all very sweet people, albeit not very talkative. The manicurists take their time and the mani and pedi I get are always done really well with no missed spots or uneven application. The whole process takes about an hour, so don’t come if you’re in a rush.
They have great hours of operation, but I would suggest making an appointment anyway to make sure they are ready for you.

i went in with a friend and got a shellac manicure, she got a pedicure. As I was picking out a color, the nail tech stood over me and kept tapping me and repeating «pick a color, pick a color.» I guess she wanted me to be quick about it, and I was taking up too much time. I got the point and just randomly picked one and moved over to the manicure chair.
The entire gel manicure took about 15 minutes, she was so fast and it showed it the lack of attention to detail. At one point, my friend sneezed and asked for a tissue. The manicurist told her, «i don’t have time to get you one.»
After my service was completed, my friend received her pedicure. She had a very thorough pedi and I sat and chatted with her while she her naiil tech tended to her. Her pedicure looked great and was a much different experience than what I had. However, the manicurist did not speak even basic English. My friend had a couple of questions regarding the packaging options and they had to be directed to another employee who could answer simple questions.
Note: they request you pay in cash and will charge you $ 3 if you use a card.

I used to be very loyal to this place. I love some of the nail techs. But the last 4 times, they’ve consistently let me down.
— Made an appointment for 7:25 for me and for my 4 year old.
— The guy (Lee) told us it would be «just a few minutes»
— Finally were seated at 8:15
— Still confirmed «just a few minutes»
— I took off my own nail polish out of concern for time
— «Just a few minutes»
— she was ignored until 8:45
— they didn’t put a base coat on her toes «because it was late» until I insisted
— they charged me $ 20 for polish only for her. I’ve never paid more than $ 10 for kids to do polish only
— we finally got out of there at 9:15. They didn’t offer me flip flops and they ignored me as I walked out of there barefoot while trying to carry a 4 year old who was half asleep, without ruining my nails
— I would have left but I had promised her a pedicure. I wouldn’t have done it if I had known it would take that long
— this is the FOURTH time I’ve had an appointment and been made to wait over an hour
— they no longer have the onsite ATM. We were directed to the nearest bank, whose ATMs were down. Came back and they sent us to Rite Aid. Dude, credit card fees are the cost of doing business! Would you rather lose the $ 3 fee, or rather lose a $ 50 paying customer? It makes no sense. I get being a small business owner and having to watch costs, but get a Square or something. Or offer something additional to those who pay cash, instead of penalizing those who would rather the transaction be safely «on the books:».
Dysphoria.

HORRIBLE experience. I chose the 45 minute pedicure… it ended up taking TWO HOURS! She also made me bleed twice. She used so much oil on my feet that I had to stop at a gas station on my way home to wash my feet off because my feet kept slipping out of my sandals and off the brake and gas pedals.
I also got my eye brows waxed by a very rude woman who kept asking why my long term boyfriend and I weren’t married. None of your business lady! The icing on the cake is the vicious rash I now have above my brows from whatever product they used.
AVOID THIS PLACE!

I had possibly the best experience at a nail salon I’ve ever had. Mary is amazing. She has a gentle spirit, a sincere smile and she was meticulous with my red nail polish. My nails are literally perfect. ½ off pricing before 6:30 didn’t suck either. $ 32.50 for regular pedi and Schlack mani works for me! I’m not going anywhere else ever again if I can help it. A+++

Clean and pleasant atmosphere. Delicious tea and incredibly comfy massage chairs! Mary did an amazing job on my mani & pedi!

This salon prefers cash only or a $ 3.00 credit card fee for payment. I gave this salon a 4 star for that reason only because payment options is not convenient.
Pedicure is nice if you choose the Euphoria Pedicure which comes with a hot paraffin wax and towel.
Watch out for good discount deals. This week it’s 50% discount for all mani/​pedi :) which manicure was like $ 7.50 (score!!) and they do it there while you are sitting down with feet in water (how relaxing!)
Appointments recommended and friendly customer service.
I will definitely come back again!

This is my «Go To» nail spot in Portland. A suggestion: book ahead. They get busy quick, and walk-​ins fill the place up unexpectedly at times. I usually call the morning of, and never have a problem getting in.
Euphoria Nails is very CLEAN. They use fresh nail files EVERY TIME. The tools they use are sanitized as well, and packed in surgical packs. Most of the technicians wear gloves too.
This is the best place to get a shellac/​gel manicure. They are experts at removing it as well, my nails are never brittle when I get gel removed at Euphoria. Ask for Mary. Mine usually will last up to 3 weeks. My pedicure can last a month (without the polish chipping). I’ve never had a manicure/​pedicure last as long as one from Euphoria.
They have a wide range of nail polish, and gel polish colors to choose from. Tons of magazines, tea, water, wine.

I will never come back here again. I had a 7:15 appointment for a pedi with my friend. They didn’t start until 7:45. All chairs were filled but one at our scheduled appointment time. The woman that was doing my nails (Kelly, I think) cut my pinky nail which caused me to Unilocal and drew blood. Once I Unilocaled, she went back for more and I had to tell her with clenched teeth «That hurts!» before she got the idea that if she touched this pregnant lady’s pinky nail again, she was going to get a foot up side her head. She continued with no further incident. They look ok from where I am standing (I can’t bend over to really examine) but my pinky nail still hurts this morning. My husband cleaned it for me when I got home from the appointment.
They also didn’t ask which pedi we wanted and gave us the standard ($ 25). They could have made an extra $ 10 on each of us, but their loss. They rushed through them. They also took down our name and phone number (per OR law they claim??) which I have never had to do in OR.

Wanted to give this place a try as it’s a stone throws away from my apartment and my usual salon is a little bit of a drive for me.
Stopped by at 6pm on a Tuesday (not a busy time, not a popular day) to see maybe three technicians giving pedicures. A very abrupt man told me he had an appointment at 6:15pm and to come back at 6:30pm. I asked if he could put me in the appointment book but he said he would remember and I didn’t need to do that. I came back at 6:40 to see the same three technicians doing manicures… Said I was here for a pedicure, picked out my color and sat down with a vogue until waiting for the guy to come out. NOBODY said anything to me while I was waiting. No «we will be with you soon» «would you like some water while you wait» NOTHING. Just gibberish in Vietnamese.
Finally, after waiting for ten minutes I asked if someone was ready for me only to have them tell me I would have to wait ANOTHER 20 minutes! I would have stuck around if the service was good– but it was HORRIBLE.
Tldr; don’t go unless you make an appointment, and even then you might get screwed.

So, to start out, I used to LOVE this place. I loved it because the atmosphere is very relaxing, the nail techs do a good job, amazing massage chairs, they have a wide selection of colors, and many other reasons but lately I have been less than impressed.
Since it’s the end of spring break, my friend and I wanted to each get a full set. We arranged an appointment over the phone for 2pm. Once we got there (early) they asked what we wanted and I had explained that we made an appointment for two full sets at 2pm. I thought they were going to handle it fine, but get this– the male nail tech said he didn’t «want» do do our nails and we should get a regular manicure done instead.
He said that he had misheard what my girlfriend said on the phone and that «manicures are not the same as full sets» (duh) yet he offered to do a regular manicure.
We asked if we could wait for someone else to do them for us and he said no, just come back another day.
The experience I had before that was my female nail tech kept getting up and leaving while she was doing my pedicure, cut me badly, and instead of fixing it or applying pressure she submerged my bleeding foot into the soapy/​salty/​dirty foot jet water hurting the cut even more. Not only that but it took at least an hour and a half to finish the dang thing because she kept leaving to help other people.
Only one man speaks good English so it’s hard to communicate without feeling confused/​rude.
Definitely disappointed. However they do have a great atmosphere, they are friendly and the nail techs don’t speak to other people in front of you without you understanding (nobody likes that confused feeling, right?)

I had bought a Groupon for this business because although I enjoy getting pedicures, I rarely get them. So when this deal popped up, and near my neighborhood, i thought why not. Groupon often is a great way to try new businesses and I have found some of my new favorites via Groupon deals.
A friend of mine was in town this weekend (she used to live here) and honestly since living in portland the only time I have ever gotten pedicures is with her. So, of course she wanted to get pedicures while she was in town. I convinced her to try this place instead of going to Vogue nails which is our standard spot (and just around the corner from my apartment).
I must say Euphoria Nails was a great experience. The employees were really nice and very attentive. It felt like being at a spa with the décor, peaceful environment, and pampering (massage chairs, and warmed neck pillows!). They also offered water or tea when we first arrived. I was just going to get the pedicure and not do anything on my hands, but when I found out they do paraffin wax treatments I couldn’t resist! Especially since it was just an additional $ 5!
I really enjoyed this spot and will be back.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
lol this was the place my friend took me to get my nails done. I had only had I think one manicure before this… I almost never had one again. First off… it was my best friend, myself and my friends kid who is like 22. My friend loved her mani pedi and my friends kid I told her to get the gel manicure… she did and she loved it… a great trashy red that she loved.
Now for my Pedi… oh my god she was so rough it was like she was mad at someone and taking it out on me. I didnt say anything because I had never had one before… I dont really need them I have feet that naturally look pretty good. but yea… 9 hours later my toes were still red around the nail from her treatment and still hurt to touch 2 days after… the manicure was not much better… she was still letting out unknown anger. my hands… oh my… my hands hurt for a week afterwards.
I would go on but that is pretty much the basics… I was in physical pain and you could see my skin was red and puffy and angry looking for several days after the mani pedi.
never again have any of us been back because of that.

This is a giant HELL NO for me.
I bought the Groupon so I could use it after work, but they were booked waaaaay in advance. I went here without an appointment and got a deluxe «Euphoria» pedi and paid full price. I am getting a refund from Groupon.
The guy at the front was annoying. He put a damper on any possible relaxation.
I had just left work and in an effort to de-​stress and avoid traffic, I opted for the longest pedi possible.
I’ll sum it up by saying that:
–Their polish selection sucks.
–I like my nails short, I asked for them short twice, they were not short.
–They have an ATM inside the business but don’t take cards (also, it’s fucking slow and once it dispenses your money it displays ALL of your information on the screen by default — including your bank account balance).
–I walked in and a girl across from my chair was enjoying her pedi and in the massage portion of it. The 2 girls working on me (yes, two — they kept getting up, leaving, switching places, etc.) were done with me before her massage portion was done.
–I had no idea my pedi was finished until she pulled my sweater leggings back down while my legs were still soaking wet.
–The majority of my time was spent sitting in the chair, being ignored, big toe nails hurting (they were cut poorly), wondering if they were going to come back to finish.
Instead of asking me if I needed help or anything, they let me sit there, wax all over my feet and all over the towel, not moving me to any area with lights or fans or drying spray to get my toe polish dry, then they basically ask me to pay and leave. Every single pedicure I’ve had followed with them making every effort to ensure my nails were dry/​protected before I left.
Instead, Euphoria gave me a kick in the ass, and took $ 40 from me. The second I stepped out the door I knew my nail polish would be ruined. Sure enough, I got to my car and they were toast. I went home, fixed my nails, went looking for a better nail place near my work.
