Holy crap.
A friend referred me to European Motors when I was first setting out to buy a car for my job. He’s been a customer with them for years and always speaks highly of them. I took my newly-​purchased car in today for a checkup and now I know why he’s so enamored of them.
Cindy was able to get me in on short notice, and they took my car inside to work on it. She kept me company in the office while the guys worked, and I still feel like I’ve been visiting an aunt’s house all afternoon. On top of that, they wouldn’t let me pay them anything for their time!!!
Never going anywhere else. Nope, nope, nope.

My car broke down a week ago around 10pm, I called a friend whom I trust for advice about cars and service, he advised I take it down to their shop. I left it there with a note and my key through their drop box. By 9am the next morning Cindy had phoned me with a grim diagnosis. She told me she would phone around to try to find me the cheapest used engine she could, she called me back with a quote within an hour and told me that they would not be able to do the work, but gave me all the details and information I would need to have my engine replaced elsewhere. She then told me that I could leave the car there until I found a place for it, which has taken a week. They are just so kind there, and I truly feel like they care about my situation, which in my experience has just never happened.
Luckily I purchased an older truck the week before this disaster, and they will absolutely have my business from now on. The truck needs some work and I’m so happy to have found a place for my vehicles where I don’t have to question honesty.

I love European motors! It’s very nice to find a shop that is a 100% honest and backs there work! Got my outback days before i thought i would and a great price on the head gasket repair. I would not think of taking my car to any other shop in portland and you shouldn’t either. Ray and Cindy are the BEST!!!

100% honest and work with you to keep costs down. I dropped in needing new rotors and brakes and found out I need new wheel bearings as well. They told me they could get to it in two days. In a matter of minutes Cindy worked me in that day and also worked her butt off to find me the most affordable parts and lumped the work together, telling me what I couldn’t get away with and what could wait a couple months. In the end what is going to be an $ 800 job will still cost me that much, but due to her honesty and the awesomeness of the shop will be spread out over a couple months, earning my loyalty and recommendation to anyone who needs their car worked on.
