There are some nice and helpful people who work here, Henry being a standout. However, when a store can’t stand behind their products, I can’t continue to do business with them. I bought a mod here that completely failed just after 30 days. They have a 14 day return policy, but when something breaks after that expect to be ignored.
The first guy I went back to told me there was nothing he could do about it and to contact the manufacturer. I contacted the manufacturer, in China, who told me the distributor or retailer should help me. I went back and talked to Tong, the owner, who said he would help me out. I brought the device back in and left it with Henry, who said they would get back to me. That was almost a month ago, and I’ve tried calling back to get an update — they are just ignoring me.
My impression is that they do not value customers and don’t hold true to promises. Not a place I would patronize, and never plan on going back. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Best selection of juice around Portland! Best service I have ever revived in a long time in a place like this. Overall my favorite vape shop to go to just to hang out with the community and the employees!

This place is the shit… I love the guys who work here Josh, Sopon, Henry, and the owner Tom they are all so friendly and welcoming great service great prices lots of fun… I even just come in here just to hang out… I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE PEOPLE

Great shop for juice! This is my favorite place to juice up in Portland due to their selection and the fact that the will let you sample to your hearts content! The only downfall is the price of their clone mods and rdas. I’m not taking a star off for that though because I mentioned how I felt about their prices on clones once and the employee actually smiled and said that if I want to order online and save money I should. He didn’t get defensive or uppity about it at all and merely explained they need to price up some things due to shipping costs and needing to make a profit, perfectly understandable seeing how affordable their juices and authentic mods are! I’ve received awesome help and advice from these guys, including them drilling out the air holes in my friends rda happily and free of charge. I love the atmosphere and lounge feel of the shop, it is a really comfortable environment with friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff!

Been coming to this vape lounge for a long time, they have a amazing selection of top grade ejuice, top of the line hardware and knowledge on it all, super friendly customer service and very chilled atmosphere. Try their new line (Chef’s Choice). You won’t be disappointed. :)

I wish I could give this place five stars because the inside and setup is great. Prices are decent and slightly cheaper than other shops. Clean and comfortable. The employees are always super chill and nice, not stuck up and snobby if you don’t know the correct terms for things the way some employees at other shops are. Also none of the employees look like & act Jersey Shore rejects like half the other local vape shops which is also a big plus lol. The only problem and the reason I don’t go there much anymore is more often than not they’re out of quite a few juices and I don’t mean like one or two, recently I think I asked for five different juices before I finally found one they had in stock. This is not uncommon,& when I called to inquire of a juice was in stock I was told it should be in within 2 – 3 weeks. I just feel like that’s way too long.
But it’s not the employees faults, they’re great and helpful and friendly. I just feel that the owner ought to do a better job at keeping things in stock, I buy juice often and I buy quite a bit and they’re losing out on a lot of business by not keeping things in the store.

there’s only one thing which prevents me from giving a 4 or 5 star rating. There seems to be problems with continuity. While they have lots of product, I have as many as 3 different vape juices, which I’ve bought there in the past and are no longer sold. One was discontinued, no one knows why the other two aren’t in stock. This has been over a 5 month period. They also seem to be moving away from the smaller pen-​like vapes, and as a result they haven’t had any coils which fit mine. The last time I went there, the guy helpfully removed the unused coils from several of their testers for me. That’s really helpful!

Many smoke shops are dingy and a bit ‘low end’ — not so Evil PDX
So (behind the counter) is a friendly, extremely knowledgeable and helpful person. The store is clean, roomy and has some great products. If you need e-​cig or other oil vapes, this is one of the best in East Portland. Don’t get put-​off by dark, grimy stores: go check out Evil PDX. It’s actually the opposite… of Evil

Great place these guys know their juices. Knowledgeable staff will keep you updated on the most recent products. They have a ping pong table. Always challenge their staff for a bottle of ejuice, why not! Overall I’m never disappointed walking out of there.

They could have more flavors handy, but the staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re having trouble getting started, or want to learn more about vaping, this is a great place to start.

Great place! I’m coming from the bay area and couldn’t have been more impressed. Josh was great, very nice guy, walked me through the store and showed me what was up. Thang the owner ran me through some of their flavors and to he honest, were all great! Better yet there’s no sales tax! I will return if I’m in the area.

I’ve only been in the establishment twice, and both times they were low on juices. The staff was friendly, but seemed rushed (despite being the only gentleman in the store). On my first visit I was still smoking analogs, and instead of buying the battery I walked in for, was talked in to buying an Escape Vapor Lounge kit of two cig-​a-​likes with disposable cartridges. It wasn’t what I was looking for, and the replacement disposables had almost zero draw on them. Luckily another shop here in Portland set me up with the right system and I have since kicked the smoking habit.
I’m not sure if I’ll be going back to Escape Vapor Lounge. It wasn’t the right fit for me, but a lot of people do seem to like it.

I would like to start off by saying I overall like this store, and it’s my usual stop for my vaping needs.
What I DO NOT like about it, though, is they have a bad habit of running out of A LOT of juices. And they do not seem to re-​order until after they’ve run out. The responsible business practice would be to place orders for the flavors they carry when they see that they are starting to run low. Nothing worse than going in and all they have left are flavors and levels of nicotine that you do not enjoy.
Other then that, great shop. Very nice people.

Decided to check out this place after I found their website. My friend needed to get a new rig and figured we’d check it out. First off, the man who helped us didn’t seem to know a thing about vaping. Almost seemed like we were bothering him with our questions. When we found the rig we wanted, I asked if it came with a battery and charger, he said yes. When we got home, there was no charger, no battery included. Very disappointed. I probably will not be going back there again.
The only reason I gave this place three stars was because of the young guy behind the juice bar. He was fantastic and even suggested a couple of e-​liquids that I loved. Good job juice bar guy!

I’m only two months into serious vaping and stumbled upon Escape Vapor Lounge through Unilocal,YouTube and eCigarette Forum. My first visit was more a recon mission… I checked out the merchandise, checked out the staff, checked out the customers and checked out the neighborhood. Several things intrigued me, great merchandise, full gambit of ejuice including 5 Pawns and Select Reserve (two of my hands down favorites).
After a month and doing my homework every night after work… I decided to go back. No matter how many people are in the store the staff is always friendly. Whenever I had questions they were there to help. I plopped down some cash for the Hades Mechanical Mod and some coil supplies. They offered to build me a coil if I came back in with my Zen Atty Pro. They turned me on to some new juices that were exactly what I was looking for… I gave them a brief description of what I like and BAM… the first two they suggested were fantastic. My stubborn ass tried 3 more thinking maybe I could do better… wrong.
Great crew, great store, great clientele, juice bar, damn… what else do you need? My go to place in PDX.

I came in this past weekend to get a new tank because my other one is super shitty. I got the Aspire BDC, which is a metal body, so I like that a lot because my last tank’s tip was plastic, and this one is metal. I also bought some juices they had in store. I got the Innovape Shazamazam 18mg, Innovape Lrizzo 18mg, and Alpha Manchu 12mg. They have a Unilocal deal! So, take advantage of that! I went in the day after Chinese New Years, so they gave out red envelopes. I had a 25% off any juice in mine, so I was sad that I should have waited on the juice. Don’t matter though. Great customer service.
I went back in 30 minutes ago because my tank hasn’t been working. Apparently it was a shitty coil, so the guy just hooked it up and gave me a new one. They have a private parking lot, and the entrance is the door to the far right of the building face from the parking lot on the left side from the street. Head up the stairs, and it’s the first door on the left.

Escape is the place to go if you are:
a) into building/​rebuilding your coils
b) into mechanical mods
I was an experienced 99%‘er with vaping, using my eVic and eGo batteries. I had no idea what a mechanical mod was, and Thang made sure I was educated! He is very hands-​on and will help you with anything he can. The customer service is really top-​notch — he will remember you when you come back. My boyfriend is a big tinkerer and his eyes lit up when he saw the selection of (pricy) mods they carry. Escape definitely has the niche market and the connections to be able to provide the greater Portand area with the equipment serious vapers need.
As a lounge, this is the spot. They have recently expanded to add a vapor bar where you can test out a huge selection of Pink Spot, Five Pawns, Flavorz by Joe, and their own OMG line of flavors. Their best recent addition was a «flavor menu», with descriptions of each of their offerings. I could spend an hour just hanging out there trying new flavors!
To top it all off, they have really fun events for the vaping community. I still haven’t made it to one due to scheduling conflicts, but there have been BBQs, poker events, raffles, meetups… it’s really a great way to get to meet other vapers in PDX. A big-​screen HDTV on the wall is often playing videos from professional vaping reviewers’ YouTube channels. I’ve picked up some good tips from them.
Go in and have fun! It’s a vaper’s playground, really. If you’re looking for local equipment and need more eGo-​type batteries, they do carry a small selection in the case closest to the register. Bubba’s Tobacco and Vapor Shop up in Vancouver off Mill Plain also has a good selection if you can’t find what you need at Escape. We’re getting more local options now and it’s just the start of a beautiful, beautiful thing!

The first time I came to this shop it had been opened for less than a month, the shop was small, only a single suite. They had a small collection of ego’s, K-100’s and a K-​200. Flash to today where they have more than doubled the space. They have a very nice selection of beginner variable voltage/​wattage kits and mechanical kits. As well as mid-​range and high end mechanical mods. They also have a juice bar where you can try out all the wonderful quality flavors they have.
They carry a good selection of juice, they have Jameson, Standard, Pink spot, Five Ponds and more — last time I was in they had a 100% VG juice — great news for those few people that may be allergic to PG blends.
When I first came here I was a beginner vapor that had no idea how in depth the world of e-​cigarettes could be. I started out with a K 200 with a vivi nova tank. After visiting several times, and with the owners tutelage I have expanded my knowledge in the art of rebuilding.
The owner, Thang, is a very good guy — he will always take the extra time to explain things to you. Its the little things he does to show his customer appreciation that keeps me coming back. When I bought my first rebuildable — not only did he rebuild it for me — he showed me how to do it myself. He even included some proper kanthal wire and eco-​wool to get me going. If I have any questions, not only will he answer them — but he will invite me to the shop to show me first hand. There have been times he has stayed passed closing time to help with a problem.
This is the shop to go to of you want a personal experience with detailed knowledge of the products they are selling. Its a very comfortable place to visit when you just want to hang out and talk with fellow vapers or the staff when they are not helping customers.

This place is awesome. A bit hard to find, but worth the effort. I was sort of in a hurry and they were pretty busy when I walked in. However, I walked out with everything I came in for, as well as a lesson in coil building from a very knowledgable customer.
These guys pay a lot of attention to detail, are nice and patient with noobs, and there was no pressure to buy. I will definitely be back.

Finally a real store in Portland that sells all your vaping needs! The owner is very nice and has a great selection for only being in business for 2 months, from cartos to rebuild able and basic batteries all the way to mechanical and variable voltage mods!
You can go in and try out the different juices that he offers. Pink Spot Vapors is on his list of eliquid brands, which happens to be one of my favorite. Also he is very sanitary when it comes to testers. He gives you your own brand new tip that fits his tester cartos and does it all with gloves! Unlike the nicstation kiosk in the malls around here who will let you taste a flavor in a tank that who knows how many people have put their mouths on.
All in all this is a great addition to the vaping community in Portland, and prices are comparable to online to boot! Give him some support so we can grow the vaping scene in Portland!
