The SOLO market brings conveniences to 82nd Avenue & Division Street, including whatever you want to smoke. If you can smoke it and it’s legal, they sell it. They even sell the cigarettes that look like fashion accessories. Their food selection wasn’t too good. Their machines to run the little meals was off during lunchtime. The Super Market across the street has a little bit more lunch for your money, by offering corn dogs and some packaged foods. SOLO would be exceptional in most places, but the reality is that it has competition just by taking one crosswalk. But, SOLO has lots of soda and beer, with some chips. This isn’t too different from the typical low-income oriented store on 82nd Avenue. You have the junk food that you get by impulse. You have chips, soda, candy and what not. I was buying a Jones Apple Soda and chips, which together were priced at $ 2.23. The bag of chips was about the same size as any other store and the soda was only $ 1. Overall, the SOLO market is a fairly good convenience store.
