As a veg/vegan I find this café very frustrating. They are not very accommodating to those who eat vg or vegan. These are my two most recent examples: Wanted to sub veg patties for grilled chicken in Baja wrap — can’t do it because the staff doesn’t know what the additional change would be… and there would be a additional charge not a straight substitution because veg patties cost more than meat does apparently. Veggie burrito bowl — if you want to exclude all the dairy(sour cream and cheese) and have avocado added in dairy’s place; it is $ 1.50EXTRA — no substitution for dairy. I feel like the café feels they can delivery middle of the road food as well as hit & miss(sometime just doesn’t care) service because they have a captive lunch audience with the tenants of Montgomery Park. Step up your game AND become fore flexible with your menu accommodations.

I’ve eaten lunch here three or four times over the past year and I love it. Their sandwiches are drool worthy, their pastries are waaaaay above average, and one time I had the most fantastic pasta alla bolognese, which surprised me because that’s a tricky one and it’s not even an Italian restaurant. The ambience is what you might expect behind a place like Rejuvenation Hardware — rustic and vintage-y. Notice the preserved tile mosaic on the floor. Reminds me of Pompeii. And the natural lighting coming in the windows is very pleasant, and it’s nice and quiet. For some reason, it doesn’t seem to get noisy, even with several tables occupied. They also have a cool wooden counter against the windows, which is helpful if you’re trying to focus on something, or if you’re there alone. Yesterday I went there with my partner and after lunch I had the best mocha I’ve ever had in my LIFE. with almond milk. That alone would be worth going there.

I have been a consistent customer for over 4 years and I really appreciate the staff’s friendly demeanor and real-ness. Sure, I’m occasionally met with sarcasm and dry humor, but that’s what makes it rad.

I met up with a friend here for lunch and boy o boy was this an unpleasant suprise. I would have been happier with a stale bag of cheetohs. I got the grilled halibut and it was terrible I mean horrible. My friend got a salad and the lettuce was brown. I wouldn’t even feed this food to my dog. 3 thumbs down for this joint.

I swear the only have two human employees and the rest are robots that didn’t have voice boxes installed. When you walk up to a register, you should be greeted with more than a blank stare. Good luck getting your coffee order correct. Overpriced, rude, maybe two menu items worth eating when you’re hungry enough to eat your own arm and only have thirty minutes for lunch.

Over the last 10 months I have tried F&B over and over and have been repeatedly disappointed in the quality, size, and price of the food.(Specifically the BLT, the cold sandwiches, wraps, and the salad) But today really pushed me over the edge. My coworker and I both bought the daily special — «grilled halibut w/pasta and creamy pesto». Let me tell ya, what I got was not at all what I expected. The serving was tiny, with a very small piece of breaded halibut with a mint-green cream sauce that doesn’t resemble or taste like pesto at all. The presentation was sloppy, and although we ordered the exact same dish, my coworkers came covered with paprika and mine had none.(Take a look at the pictures I am posting, and see the pitiful meal they call a «Daily Special» I expect much more than this from a catering company. I know one thing, I will never hire Food in Bloom to cater an event.

Not that impressed. I worked at Montgomery Park for a while and ended up eating here often when I didn’t bring a lunch — mostly for the convenience factor. MOST of the food is fairly good — if you stick to simple menu items(hamburger, panini, chicken & chips). Their daily specials could be pretty disappointing, and extremely expensive for what you ended up getting — I’d avoid the frills. The salad bar has a great selection, but beware! It’s around $ 6.99/lb. I’ve seen many a customer walk away angry with a $ 13.00 salad. They have«heavier» items such as chicken breast and various pasta salads which can quickly add bulk. Also be prepared to wait. This café does not handle heavy traffic well at all. They cook everything to order and if there’s a long line and you want a hamburger grilled — you’ll be standing there for a good 15 minutes. This place seems to be ideal for business lunches for the surrounding offices and companies, but I wouldn’t make it a habit to eat here daily.

Coffee is good, and the food is okay. We get the food catered for meetings sometimes and the food has been good and simple. I hope soon they will make the breakfast burritos fresh instead of microwaving them and smashing it with the sandwich press with a side of jarred salsa. Fresh ingredients would be awesome! The staff is usually very nice even at lunch rush.

Having worked in the Montgomery Park building, I’ve eaten here multiple times. I used to think it was decent. You could grab a sandwich and chips and go, or place an order from the grill. They also have a salad bar, which is fresh, but seems very expensive. But after I got very ill from eating a «grab and go» sandwich here, I was not able to bring myself to return. I also would agree with the previous reviewing about the poor customer service.

Rachel and Julia ALWAYS provide great service! They are both very friendly and always engage in conversation while taking my order. They have gotten to know my name and know what kind of coffee I usually order! When I have asked Rachel for new drink suggestions she always comes up with something great for me to try! Since I usually come to the café a few times a week I wanted to make sure that they know that the service they are providing is much appreciated! THANKYOU!
