We had a very large customized project that required a great deal of attention to detail. Todd took great care in attending to our project and ensuring that it was done to meet our needs. Been to lots of frame shops over the years, but this unassuming SE PDX shop is the best. I received a gift of one of their frames and attempted to use it but couldn’t quite figure out the intricacies of a metal frame… I walked in with the frame and my art in pieces after being referred here by one of their regulars. 10 minutes later I had my frame with my art matted perfectly in it at no charge AND a smile. Now it doesn’t get any better than that. They have my framing business from now on and should have yours too.

I would like to reiterate how reasonable the pricing is, even with UV glass. Plus, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I had purchased a piece of art that came framed and needed to have it re-​framed, due to the original frame’s hideousness. The store was super busy but the staff was very nice in apologizing for the wait and were very attentive once it was my turn for service. Again, the bill came out to be about half of what I expected. It’s worth bringing my art to Portland from Seattle to have the framing done here.

My family has had nothing but great experiences here. Most recently I went in at the end of the day on Friday with a very curled print hoping to have it framed as a gift for my husband’s birthday which was three days away. I knew the frame job wouldn’t be completed in time but I did mention that it was for a gift. Not only did I receive excellent service but I was shocked and amazed when I got a call less than 24 hours later telling me the job was done! The crew at Framing Resource went above and beyond to work a miracle for me. In addition, I really feel like they «get» it in terms of knowing what will work aesthetically with whatever you are framing. They made great suggestions and together we picked out the perfect frame. I got amazingly quick service and an archival quality job… at a price that was reasonable. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Nice place — friendly, easygoing and knowledgeable. They’re willing to accommodate a range of budgets and requests, but I suspect they’re a bit on the pricey side compared to more straight-​to-​the-​point shops.
This isn’t one of those shopping mall sell-​you-​a-​poster and a frame kind of places — it’s pretty custom, and there’s quite a selection of ideas. I was particularly fascinated by the featured display they had on velvet paintings and some outlandish framing samples to go with ‘em.
