One of my favorite fruit places. But they are no longer opened. 11÷25÷14

Smoothies were awesome but overpriced as expected for anyone who makes them at home. Sandwiches were just okay and would not be worth ordering again in my opinion. Service was awesome

Recommended to me by a friend. Love the variety! I ended up choosing the mazatlan(strawberries, watermelon, and cantaloupe). It was amazing, all fruit and ice, no dairy. I loved watermelon juice when I lived in China and this smoothie reminded me of that juice. My only complaint is that the cost is pretty expensive… on par with jamba juice but the portion sizes seem smaller. Regardless, I’ll definitely be back.

A great place if you’re craving a smoothie. It’s nice to have a conveniently located smoothie bar that includes an option for only fruit and ice– and Frutilandia does so expertly! It is an unpretentious atmosphere with very friendly staff. I look forward to going back and trying more.

Best fruit drinks and smoothies downtown… and the least expensive(and least trendy). A group of friends and I have been having fruit juices and smoothies every weekday in downtown for weeks and we’ve tried Kure, Greenleaf, and Frutilandia. For us, Frutilandia is the clear favorite when we want just great fruit-based drinks(they don’t do green drinks or protein/nut drinks that I know). In our little adventure, we tried Frutilandia last, after Kure and Greenleaf and… wow… it felt like we had found our place from the very get go. The atmostphere is like a Mexican fruteria(probably intentional), very bright, fresh fruits on display everywhere. No large group of hip/cool people here, just one or two very nice ladies working really hard and pumping out the drinks really fast. They have a menu of drinks, but they will basically make anything you want(they saw me struggling to see the menu board and brought me a printed one, which was so sweet of them). It’s all from scratch, no added sugar, and super fresh. The Acapulco, Vallarta, Jamaica(see how those names work?) and so many more were just excellent. So fresh, so tasty! Overall, the flavor of their drinks for fruity freshness and cleanness of flavor takes the win. Add-ons like ginger were free, because whatever they have, they’ll put it in. Drinks are currently $ 4.95 for 16 oz., so less than Kure and Greenleaf which are more like $ 6 – 7. They also offer salads, sandwiches, and panini made to order, which is something the others don’t match at all. We’ve tried the salad so far and it was great. Let me be clear though, this is the place for fruit, not for green smoothies or for protein smoothies, which I don’t see on the menu at all. This is now our«go to» downtown for daily fruit drinks.

Groupon users, beware! Fruitlandia requires you to use the entire value in one visit. It’s really tough to spend $ 20 on smoothies at once. I sent today with a friend and we ended up using cash. The smoothies were tasty, but now I have to go back with 4 friends to spend the groupon. Super inconvenient.

The three days that I was in Portland the first time, I came here four times. When I stopped in Portland for two hours last time, I HAD to come here. Although $ 4.95 for a 16-ounce drink is quite pricey, I don’t really mind when it comes to Frutilandia, because I know that it’s all natural fruits that go into my smoothie – no sugar or sweetener of any sort. I also love that the lady allows the addition of a random fruit to whatever is indicated on the menu, which, for each regular fruit smoothie item, consists of a mix of three or four fruits. There are so many combinations, my favorite of which is the Mazatlan: strawberry, mango, watermelon – with the addition of a few pieces of papaya. I don’t know how the owner here attains such fresh fruit year-round, but I love it. The menu also expands to smoothies with frozen yogurt, shakes, and even cookies/pastries. Every drink from Frutilandia is a dream come true – in a disposable plastic cup!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! This place is absolutely delicious and super healthy. I came in here during lunch once, I was craving a coconut smoothie, and they had a great selection of coconut smoothies. The fruit is fresh(and displayed) and the smoothies are made quickly. They are super delicious, natural and healthy. You can add different things into your smoothie, and you can even customize a smoothie. I ordered a smoothie, and added yogurt to it(plain yogurt). As a side note, they do have sandwiches and snacks to munch on, but aside from their smoothies, milk shakes, and fruits, they do not have very many other gluten free options. PS. They have pre-cut mango in a cup which you can squeeze a lemon on. So yummy! I have been back, and will definitely come back.

My friends and I stumbled upon this unassuming smoothie shop in downtown Portland. I really wasn’t expecting much but my boyfriend especially LOVEDLOVEDLOVED the smoothies here. He thought they were super fresh and just the right balance of fruit and ice. He couldn’t stop raving about them! The first day, I thought my smoothie drink was nothing to write home about. Then we actually came back a second day(to the insistence of my boyfriend). I forgot what I got, but it tasted a lot better and I agreed that the smoothie was pretty darn good. I think my drink had peach and orange, and the drink was delicious. Also they have mutant papayas here. They looked like gigantic gourds. Not sure what’s up with that. I think the ingredients only consist of fruit, some ice, and a white powder, which was probably sugar.

This place is weird. Not the people or anything, but the concept behind it. The garish yellow walls, the warm air, the funny little refrigerated case of cut fruit. I am not fully on board with a place that sells smoothies and then has a case of soda in it. Not to mention their ears of corn smothered in butter. What’s that about? I just don’t get it. It’s all too much! I got one of their juices, the carrot/orange/apple situation, and it was pretty good! Honestly, I wish their was more visibility to how they make their concoctions. What’s with the yellow shields?

This place is near my work and I love it. There is nothing special about the inside but the smoothies are fabulous! They are healthy as well. The one I get is just fruit and ice with nothing else added. I have never had a bad one yet in there.

It’s Frutilandia, not«Fruitlandia». Don’t bother getting a panini – just get a smoothie. The smoothies taste exactly like whatever ingredients are listed for them. Usually other smoothie places have some weird filler tastes to accompany their ingredients. Frutilandia’s smoothies taste clean, simple, and fresh. They don’t use fruit from concentrate or frozen or purée. They need a new graphic designer.

I like the fruit being visible in its display case so I can pick and choose what looks fresh in order to make my smoothie. Thank goodness most don’t have banana by default because that is an old-fashioned technique. The smoothies are a little pricey, but a medium is fine and plenty for a nice blast of fruity freshness. I’ve yet to try any of their sandwiches, but I don’t have any plans to rectify that. I just go for the fruit smoothies. :)

Real. Fresh. Fruits. Your choice of fruits blended as a smoothie or juiced. It is a little bit pricey but fruits aren’t cheap. :(They also have panini sandwiches, too.

I enjoyed my smoothie but I would not pay $ 5 for it on a regular basis. I did not understand the overwhelming menu of options, several of which had exactly the same ingredients listed in different order. I also didn’t enjoy the ambiance of the place at all — it was a little dirty and/or in need of a paint job. And actually, if what someone said is true and they DO add Splenda to their smoothies, I will reduce my stars and never go back… That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Surprisingly good smoothies! It doesn’t have the Jamba Juice flair or variety beyond three fruits, but it certainly hits the spot if you’re craving some fruity goodness for a decent price. The place appears to be a little rundown with not much space, but it doesn’t detract from the smoothie deliciousness. It seems to offer sandwiches as well, but I probably wouldn’t risk it.

Thank you for being open on Saturday! This is a fresh fruit, smoothie and panini sandwich place a half-block east from Pioneer Square. I walk by here all the time but apparently missed it until one day the windows full of fruit caught my eye. I walk in and the place smells fresh and clean with a hint of citrus and melon in the air. I was captivated by the display full of white trays with beautiful, fresh, cut up fruit. I was looking for a quick lunch so the panini sandwich menu caught my eye next. The lady was very friendly and recommended an excellent choice. The prices are reasonable enough to make it on my list of favorite quick & casual lunch places in downtown. The sandwich was hot, fresh and tasty. The bread was perfectly grilled panini-style and satisfied my deep-fried craving without any of the fat. The pesto and avocado will bring me back here soon. It was going to be a long day, so I also ordered one of their tall cups full of fruit for a lite meal later. They have grab and go cups already prepared or they will full up a tall or short glass with your choice of fruit. I will be back soon to try out their smoothies and licuados. The key is fresh fruit and and they certainly have that covered. They have 3 chairs by the window if you would like to eat there, but most people take their order to go. It is a small place, across Yamhill Street from the court house, next to Ben Bridge Jeweler and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. If you are feeling especially healthy from eating lunch or a fruit salad here, you can go around the corner to Coco Donut on 6th Avenue and treat yourself to a hand-made classic donut and espresso!

Top notch spot downtown for a healthy treat. Even their sandwiches are good. Nice and simple selection of food and tons of choices for smoothies. They really are made with fresh fruit-as in someone chopped up real fruit that day vs the syrupy fruit schtuff that other places use. I’ve been back several times now and have always received great service and a tasty smoothie. I’m hooked!

Smoothies aren’t best enjoyed in freezing temperatures. However, I did enjoy a Frutilandia smoothie when it was right around 32 degrees or so outside. I walked to Frutilandia from my workplace at Inner SE. And yes, on the way there, I had to wait for a bridge to raise and come back down. And, yep, on the way back I had to wait(again!) for a bridge to raise and come back down. But it was totally worth it. Let’s get things straight: the interior isn’t going to win any awards. It’s just a smallish shop in downtown. In fact, I can’t remember if there is anywhere to sit(I have a terrible, terrible memory. And I actually went there not two hours ago). However, you’re not going to a smoothie place to look at the interior; you’re going to a smoothie place to get a smoothie. And this was one mighty-fine smoothie. Basically, you’re presented with a huge variety of different smoothies and milkshakes you can have. This is a good thing for most and a bad thing for me, in that there were easily four choices that I could have opted for. I went with the banana, blueberry and strawberry smoothie(it had a name but, again, I have a terrible memory) with soy milk. The smoothie was absolutely delicious. There weren’t any clumps in there, which some smoothies sometimes have. And it was blended so that no one flavor truly overpowered the others. Frutilandia also had a menu for some sandwiches, all of which looked pretty good. I’ll have to check those out some other time. So! If you’re looking for a smoothie during the cold winter months, I’d recommend trying Fruitlandia. I will end with a question instead of a statement: Is this place really called«Frutilandia» or is it a misspelling of «Fruitlandia»? Am I taking crazy pills?!(interrobang is needed, here)

The fruits are nicely cut and stored in refrigerated display. I enjoyed the juice I’ve created out of more than 10 different fruits. The price is very reasonable and the best thing is you get to customize your own drink! They make smoothies, juice, snow cones as well as sandwiches. The store also provide free wi-fi. Great for those who are on the go to stop, refresh and catch up on email.
