Gilmore’s Meadows

I’d always ironically wanted to go here, ever since I saw they do holiday dinners, maybe that was just once, for one holiday but I thought it was silly and hilarious (is the bar really your family? You don’t have anyone you know well enough to crash a meal with on a holiday?). Now I can say straightfaced I actually like it.
The place is big! You can hang with the locals at cafeteria style tables, drink at the bar, sit at some pub tables, branch off to the pool table area, play some pinball in what feels like someone’s basement or even take in a concert (they have a decent stage/​dance floor!). I think it’s crowning glory is the patio out back though, but that’s just, like, my opinion, man. It’s heated, covered and pretty nice! It feels pan-​seasonal, you could come here any olé time and be happy on tha patio.
We had a few beers here (one of us being a beer snob) and neither of us were wholly unsatisfied. We also shared some food. I think we had the chicken fingers, chicken wings and potato skins. All was awesome. The guy who brought the food out was so easygoing and eager to please. Our bartender came to the table which felt luxurious in a dive.
There are various sports games on and some video gambling but overall I don’t have anything bad to say about this spot. Parking is available and plentiful. It’s around my neck of the woods and yeah, no complaints. The only thing I could compare it to might be Wichita Town Pub on King (been there a few times) and the menu is sorely lacking compared to WTP but the drinks were just fine! A completely respectable place to imbibe a few, shoot some pool or chill (esp if it’s chilly) on a patio.
The music was good but I love most music. I’d love to see a local band play here. Or even karaōke on that stage!

The food are kind of pricey, but the serving is a lot, so it’s good.
The drink I ordered «Mud Slide» is tasty, I approve!
The KJ Tony is SOOO awesome, the music he plays are fun to dance, he also sings really good, and if you ask him to do a duet with you, he will do it.
The place is nice too, and if you go to the back side, there’s a comfortable spot to hang out there.
Go get your drinks there peeps!

Not sure what the negative review prior is responding to, from my view. In my experience going there, the staff and bartenders are very friendly and even the cook came out to deliver my hamburger and tots which was real good.
Drinks (well drinks for me) are a little spendy but not outrageous imo. Yes my well drink was $ 6 but it didn’t break the bank and the drink was good. The location isn’t the most convenient but there doesn’t seem to be much competition in the area.
Nice staff and good food make this a nice place to visit with friends. Recommend it.

RUDE staff ! Bartenders are untrained and the drinks are weak plus they charge 25% more than other local bars. The asst manager Will kick you out if you don’t tip her. Bar staff will not come out from behind bar to wait on tables, they want you to do all the work and pay extra for it. NOT a good neighborhood place with the new Owner

I’m from a small town where bars feel like home and food is important, Gilmore’s Meadows is a city bar that makes you feel like you are home. The people are amazing, the Food is delicious, the drinks are poured like they should be, The price is cheaper than any I’ve found in the area for the quality…
Whether I want to just relax or want to go out and cut lose, this place has provided the appropriate atmosphere for every mood. There are pool tables, darts, pinball and golf games… there is a Dj, karaōke, AND live music with a big dance floor. Fenced in patio is heated, covered, and super smoker friendly, the menu is diverse, food tastes great and the prices are super affordable. they have a bunch of poker machines and you don’t feel all sectioned off if you play. The bartenders are fast and friendly… I just really don’t have anything to complain about after visiting this place.
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Thanks Gilmore’s Meadows for the very nice time! especially your Super Bowl party this year! great free food and super fun to enjoy the game on your many tvs!!! yall rock,

Over priced and the bartender sucks. never going back there again!
