The Blue Room

Five star place… First anything you buy from the carts can be brought into the bar. The beer selection is good and not too expensive they also carry a couple of good ciders.
You can carry on a conversation with friends and still enjoy the musicians not to loud. I do enjoy bringing my study material and not lose my place due to raucous behavior.
A very nice local bar you will enjoy it.

I like this bar. You can bring the food from the carts into the bar, live music, good beer and decent people. The only thing i dont like is the music is way to loud sometimes. You have to scream into the bartenders ear to order, even then he can’t understand sometimes. Other than that this bar is a lot better than the other bars in the area.

Surprise Surprise. A fully bar with a good tap selection in cartlandia. You can even bring food in from any of the carts.

I haven’t tried their food since they allow cart food– which is completely awesome!!!
The service from our bartender was awesome. She was hilarious and sarcastic– experience could not have been better.
Bathrooms were the cleanest I have seen in a bar ever! Which is reassuring after a 30 mile bike ride!

Had a great time when I dropped by to watch the WWC USA vs. Columbia. Friendly bartender who added more mixture for me into my martini that was just a tad too strong for me.
Friend got the Lemonade mix and the Pineapple Cider which was pretty good.
Unfortunately by the time we got to the bar, the food carts around the area were pretty much closed or weren’t what we were looking for.
Too bad I’m not much of a beer drinker or else I’m sure the amount of choices they had would’ve made me pretty happy.
Overall, pretty good experience. Would come here again to watch a game!

The bartender Gregg is the freaking man!!! That dude rocks and so do all the bands they have all the time. Especially, open mics on Wednesdays with Th-​Thunder!!!

It is a cool bar that you would not expect from it’s location. The bartender I have met was very good at remembering names and greeted me by name the second time I was there. Went to trivia night on Tuesday, it’s all sci-​fi and hokey but that makes it kind of fun too. I’m not sci-​fi so I suck but would welcome new team members. I haven’t had the food yet but it looks good. The drinks are a reasonable price especially because they are fancy. Haven’t been to watch soccer but they show all the soccer games and I plan on it since I’m a big fan. Check it out.

I’m here right now with my friend because he wanted to grab a beer while we wait for his order. The bar tender literally just said «don’t forget to tip your bartender, I got you some tasters». What the heck?

Jim the bartender is always here during the week and a gem of a guy. Food is reasonable and quite good. They also allow you to bring in food from the carts right outside. They do ask you buy a beverage which is a reasonable request given you are using their wifi, heat, restroom etc… don’t be a cheap bastard!
Rotating taps… usually a couple good local options along with some sh*t beer (always needed) and some larger craft beer options.
Good tv layout and on the weekends and evening they have live music and other activities.

My husband and I have been to the blue room several times now the food and drinks are awesome!!! The bartenders are a riot! :-) we came this evening we had gotten food from a couple of food carts my husband was waiting for our food from a little taco truck next to the blue room and I had gone inside to get warm and wait for his soup, I ordered a hot chocolate to get warm then his soup came and I munched on that and was looking at the new menu for the blue room and I decided to get a flat bread pizza called the classic margarita and when it came out my husband arrived with our food and we munched on all of it, the pizza was DELICIOUS!!! it was such a tasty pizza I loved every bite yum yum, I ordered the chocolate decadence dessert they had and the cook made me fresh whip cream and it was so yummy!
I love the blue room it is a relaxed atmosphere the people are awesome, the food is amazing! My husband and I love going there and they have to be good we are coming from Vancouver lol I can’t wait to go back and try more of the food on the new menu :-)

Came here for drinks while we were at Cartlandia. Grabbed some tacos from a food truck and brought them in here to eat, which you’re able to do as long as you purchase a drink! Amber — the bar manager — was GREAT! She made our visit there so enjoyable. She was very personable and shared drink making tips with us. Her drinks were mixed so well and her beer suggestions for me were spot on. The local IPA I got was exactlyyy what I love. You wouldn’t think this place would be nice at all from the outside — but like they all say. never judge a book by its cover! The inside was small, but cute and just a great place in general. They have local bands perform here regularly. Definitely a place I would come visit again.

I Love The Blue Room Bar! My band, When We Met played a show here and had so much fun! Great people, great Cider and you can bring food from the carts into the bar! I look forward to all my future visits to the bar and playing more shows;) you guys are awesome!

How cool is it that they have beer on tap now at Cartlandia? Biking the SWC to Cartlandia just got so much better now that I can cool off in an air-​conditioned bar with delicious local beer. Nothing too fancy, but the service was great and the beer was solid. See you again soon, Blue Room.

I dig this joint. And it kinda feels like a joint. Drinks were in the $ 5 range for a well drink. The nice woman who tended bar had her hands full with us loudsters, drinkers, pot-​smokers out back… She was great and a good sport. It’s fairly big inside, bust most everyone crowded towards the front to see the music. Folks were friendly. While I did know a few people (there to see Twitchy-​Poo with me), it kinda felt like I knew everyone by the end of the night. Many of us held court out back with a full table, loud talkers, guitars, singers, rappers, smokers, ex-​roommates offering long deserved apologies (in my case), and generally well-​meaners. It’s a bit of a haul from St Johns — but if there’s someone there I wanna see, I’ll totally go again!

The Blue Room bar just opened in a corner of the food cart pod Cartlandia. It is a classic bar with 18 taps, and a big case with cocktails. You can bring in cart food if you buy a beverage at the bar.

I had the pleasure of being one of the first patrons at this establishment. The inside of the bar is really nice, but from the outside it looks like an industrial shed or something. Its located in the same parking lot as Cartlandia. The beer selection was good and the staff was friendly. They have a stage and do live music on the weekends which is pretty cool. The best part is that its really warm and welcoming indoor space to eat the food that you get at the food carts of Cartlandia and drink a beer.
