Godfather’s Pizza

Both times I have ordered from this location, they have managed to screw up. First they left ingredients off of my pizza and after I left feedback on their web page, I was called by the manager and regional manager. Both apologized and then I was given a free pizza. The most recent order was placed online and I asked that it be delivered at 5 pm (feeding my babysitter). At 530, the order had not yet arrived and I had to leave. I called the restaurant and was assured it was coming and was late because they were backed up with orders… odd for a weekday and so early. I returned to my house at 730 and the order was NEVER DELIVERED!!! My babysitter left hungry and I was embarrassed. My cc was charged and I am still waiting to see the money refunded. That night, I called to speak with the manager and again I was offered a free pizza but I don’t think I’ll even bother using it.

Love the pizza but not the price. The pizza is great and fresh but this is a place we order from when we decide to splurge a little. We would order more often if the prices came down but wouldn’t want that to effect the quality! Love that they deliver too!

Same quality as it had been but more customers equals longer wait to get in and order.

Went for the lunch pizza buffet. Lots of choices and at $ 8.49 which includes a drink, it is very reasonable. Pizza is average… a little bit scrimpy on the toppings, but I really do like the taco pizza… it’s the best there. What’s really good is the salad bar. I was impressed w/​the choices, the freshness, and the dressings. Reeally good. A few times through the salad bar was worth the money to me. My daughter loves the new-​age soda machine with all the extra flavors.

Nice lunch buffet. They offered to make my favorite pizza and had it out in 10. Nice, spacious and clean dining room.

First night in new house, no frige yet, so we decide go order pizza. Not knowing our new town all that well yet we Unilocaled GFP and the only good things we can say is the salad was excellent as was our delivery driver. Pizza sucked. Not hot in the slightest… and they are less than 5 min from us! Fail.

We have ordered from this location for 6 months, the service and the pizza is amazing. We do not order from another other pizza place. Recently had an issue with pizza having mushrooms on it (I am allergic) I called and they sent me a new pizza without mushrooms. The owner of the business emailed me and offered to deliver the full order of what we ordered the night that the issue happened. I think that was an amazing offer to do so, but, I had already received another pizza in it’s place. I find that Pat’s customer service and offer really shows that customers do matter. Though I did turn down the offer of free dinner, Pat sent me a coupon for a free pizza (which I will happily use) Thanks Pat for being a great owner and showing that in this day and age so many places don’t seem to care about customer service, that you do care. We are loyal customers and fans of Godfathers Pizza in Tigard/​Beaverton and will remain so.

My husband and I have a thing for pizza buffets. Don’t ask me why. We usually go to Round Table, but opted for this Godfather’s because it was close to his jobsite that day. I was not impressed with their pizza as it seemed to have more crust and cheese than anything else. They should add more toppings so at least we can fool ourselves into thinking we are eating some protein and vegetables. They do offer a gluten-​free pizza which we did not try since we had the buffet, but I might be interested in giving that a whirl one of these days.
The BEST part of this meal was the salad bar and the amazing soda dispenser. The selection at the salad bar was unique enough that it had my husband going back for seconds (which never happens!). There were salad dressing choices I have never seen at any other buffet-​style restaurant. They also have one of those new space-​age looking soda dispensers that offers a gazillion choices with different flavors and everything. Be careful if you take your kid in there because I can imagine they’d be hitting that machine every 20 seconds for a new flavor.

I wish there was less than 1 star. This Godfathers just cancelled a reservation for a local home owners association the day before the meeting. The reason given was they have «a more important group that wants the room». If this is how they treat their neighborhood organizations how will they treat other customers. I won’t go to find out.

So what’s wrong with being average? Not a thing. Somedays you just feel average. You don’t want to be around your super cool friends who put you to shame with their latest tales of their adventures around the world. You don’t want to wear your rockin outfit that has to be ironed in 50 places and has a thousand buttons and makes you look 2 sizes smaller. Somedays you want to wear sweatpants. And you sure as hell don’t want to go to your favorite pizza joint with its awesome crust/​sauce combo and find out the old chef is gone and new fancy pants chef has changed EVERYTHING.
Enter Godfather’s. One plus of it being a chain, it’s going to taste the same EVERYDAY. So when I’m in my will only wear sweatpants-don’t mess with me world-​I just want to watch a funny movie on my couch and I’m too lazy to make a sandwich kinda mood, their bacon cheeseburger pizza is exactly what I want. Another bonus of them being a chain? I can always find a coupon for this place. This location is especially good about honoring online coupons.
Of course it’s not terribly healthy but you can choose thin crust and veggie options to lessen the impact. But that’s not what I’m going for when I eat here. Give me the bacon damnit! Some of the locations do gluten-​free crust, but this isn’t one of them. On the plus side, they have great service. On our last visit they didn’t have the size we wanted so they gave us two pizzas of the next smaller size instead. I choose to stuff myself in peace, so I always get my pizza to go, but it looks like they have lots of seating in the dining room and it’s a good place for groups and kids.

Gotta love Godfather’s Pizza! Great pizza and they have an excellent salad bar. I’ve been to their lunch buffet a few times and it’s pretty good. I get excited about the salad bar but they could have put out more pizza. Taco pizza, BBQ chicken, and Chicken Artichoke are my favorites at Godfather’s. Check it out!
