I live in the neighborhood and tried this place for the first time yesterday. The noise level inside was deafening! Tried their avocado fries– delicious but this appetizer is overpriced at $ 9 for the wimpy portion. The lasagna was flat, two layers with hardly any filling and the tomato sauce really bitter. Yuck. My last time…

Prices are a little too high for burnt pizza. Yes it’s fire pizza but go easy on the fire. Not a lot of great pizza choices. Give me a normal pizza not a bunch that I have to gamble on when I order. Prices are high. That all being said the place is nice with good outdoor seating.

The service was absolutely horrible. The waitress took forever to take our orders, and when the food arrived we had to wait another 15 minutes to get silverware! We both ordered pasta so it was kinda necessary. After we finally got to eating our cold food we had to wait another 30 minutes to get our check. Will not be going back.

What can I say. very blan food at high prices. We ordered our food without tomatoes and everything had tomatoes. Sodas are in small glasses and constantly have to be refilled. The coconut shrimp were way sugary and blan city. Go to thirsty lion for better food and service.

Pros: Service was excellent! Everyone who worked there that we interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and on top of it. Cons: Terrible food, and was extremely overpriced! My husband ordered a «steak» and fries($ 22) and it was flank steak… very thin, and could barely be called a steak. The fries were barely crispy on the outside, and very dry on the inside. I had a happy hour plain, basic burger($ 7), meat, cheese, mayo, bun. It was charred on the outside of the patty, and dry and flavorless on the inside. We got avocado fries($ 7 for 7) and those were actually good, but small slices and we only got 7. Kids got kids meals, mini corn dogs and mac n cheese, which came with a kids drink and a cup of applesauce($ 7 each). Those were ok, but were obviously just boxed/frozen food heated up. Overall, this was not great at all and we will not be going back. I’m extremely sad by how much this cost, and how terrible the food was. Don’t go here, it’s definitely not worth it. If the owners read this, then please get fresh food and make quality products to serve to your customers please!

This place is a pretty generic fancy family pizza, sports bar kinda place, the pizza was pretty tasty though, the dough had a good consistency and toppings all tasted fresh. The prices are a bit high for the quality of the pizza but ya paying more for the environment than just the food The raspberry cheesecake I had though was quite good and very enjoyable.

Solid Pizza — I did enjoy Pricing is too high Upgrade the menus — felt dirty and simple The restaurant looks amazing; the wood, fire, floor to ceiling winds with the sunset and pond. Looks like there has been a ton of money spent on the whole operation, then skimped on the menu’s(the first thing you hand to the customer when they arrive). I love the Progress Ridge area. Probably will not be back based on price is greater than pizza. Pizza should always be greater.

We were waiting for our movie so we decided to eat first. They just started a breakfast menu, let’s just say… It was alright. I say stay focused to what you are known for and that is pizza. Get inventive with what you guys are good at, instead of omelettes and biscuits and gravy, make a breakfast pizza. Make people try and want something different! We will give this place another try but for the pizza next time.

Flat bread with marinara sausage and basil and smoked sea food chowder was excellent! Obviously, you have to know what to order. They got it right with us. The ambience was excellent as well, with some good blues music on a Friday afternoon!

This place has gone down hill! The bar seating area is filthy, the food is overpriced crap. Hopefully someday something good will go in this convenient location!

I never ate at BJ’s, and so this is solely a review of The Ridge. The food was fine, I had no problem with it, but the water tasted funky. Like plastic? So we ordered drinks after we couldn’t drink our water. We didn’t mention this to our waiter, and ordered soda and beer to wash down our food with. He didn’t seem too happy to be working, like he just did not want to be there… I’m guessing since it was after the lunch rush, he was waiting to get off his shift, or just starting :/We didn’t interact with any other staff besides the hostess who sat us, so it wasn’t the best experience. I haven’t been back since…

Now serving breakfast… This was our first time here and it was pretty good. The portions are big and the prices weren’t bad for as much as we got.

Just opened for breakfast this weekend. Not a ton on the menu but talking with them I know it’s a work in progress. We got there right around 11 so we decided on lunch. We got the French dip and club sandwich. French dip was good, it needed something else, like horseradish to spice it up. The auju was really good. Club sandwich had an amazing garlic aioli on it… It was good. Service was amazing at the door, but the waiter was average. He didn’t seem to happy to be there. If I go back it will be to try there pizza.

I ordered a Pasta Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was awful, it was way overcooked and hard to chew. I noticed the water was very metalic, even the cups were dirty. It took very long for our food to arrive. I would not come again.

Food was actually pretty good. Hubs ordered The Ridge and I had the Big Kahuna. The service, however, was HORRIBLE. Owners… please staff more appropriately. There is no way 2 servers can be successful with a full bar. We were tempted to leave, after waiting 25 minutes to find someone for our bill… then another 15 minutes to actually pay. Unbelievable. We most likely will not be back, which is a shame, because there aren’t a lot of options at Progress Ridge.

Not sure what the ‘new’ management is fussing about the ‘new/revitalized’ menu… proof is in the pie. and pie is not up for it based on recent visit. Chewy(extra cheesy) pizza is not my thing. They call it ‘The Ridge’ and unfortunately, it’s a let down and speaks for the state of this joint. BJ Willys(previous owner) had something interesting going… The Ridge is going nowhere.

So it wasn’t a huge bust, but I doubt I would recommend the place to anyone. The queso was«aiight», but the pizza definitely made up for it. The crust is hand toss and they make them 24hrs ahead of time. The crust is the right consistency thin and crispy, but with a little a bit of chewiness. The roasted garlic and onions with the fennel sausage complimented very nicely and they topped it off with a drizzle of olive oil.

This place used to be B.J. Willy’s Woodfired Pizza, which had 2.5 stars before it turned into«The Ridge.» The Figgy Piggy pizza is a tasty but confusing creation with each bite having a different burst of flavor: sweet, salty, savory, burnt. The Seafood Mac & Cheese elicited an unenthusiastic«Meh» from my co-worker. We tried out the pineapple cider, but we found the taste odd and off-putting. We agreed that overall they’re charging a bit too much given the quality. I enjoyed that burnt-wood smell when I walked in, but the interior looked a bit tired and worn. The table was wobbly and we had to brush away a few crumbs. The service is friendly but everything was very slow, especially for a business lunch hour, so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re in a hurry. Food: 3 Service: 3 Ambiance: 3 Value: 2 TL;DR: So very average, tad overpriced

To put it blunt, this place was awful. I dined here last Friday night, before seeing a movie at Cinetopia. My friend and I each had a side salad, and shared a 10″ pizza. First of all, the service is painfully slow… Which wasn’t a big deal as we were almost 2 hours early for our movie. My biggest issue with this place is the food quality. The salads were tossed with an extreme amount of dressing! Like so much dressing that the lettuce was dripping from my fork. I had 2 bites and called it. We ordered the pineapple and ham pizza, which had a decent amount of pineapple and fresh basil(which I love). My issue with this pizza was they must have put it on a sopping wet pizza pan… Because the crust was so damp and soggy that it was almost inedible. To say I’m disappointed with this place is an understatement… I will not make the mistake of coming back here.
