I’m a Travel nurse in the O.R.I travel across the country and Unilocal is my right hand and trusted friend to find the best of the best be it an oil change, a blow out with cut and color, or the best places to grab a nosh. Godfathers in Beaverton is one of those places. I can’t say enough good things about them. I’m extremely reticent about ordering delivery(God only knows what you will get), but they have consistently delivered hot fresh food to my door in less than the time they quoted me over the phone. They are amazing and my go to place for pizza around the corner while I’m assigned here in Portland.

Came for the pizza buffet. After paying $ 20 for us to eat at the buffet I realized there were only two pizzas out on the buffet which where both covered in grease. I waited ten minutes just to have one cheese pizza added to their«buffet» I ate one bite and threw the rest away. We ended up not even eating and just walking out it was so disgusting and disappointing for a so called buffet. You would think there would be options during lunch time but no way. I sat there the whole time just pissed off thinking of the money I just wasted on gas station style pizza. Please don’t go here it’s a disgrace.

Hard to go past 4 stars for this place. These restaurants are a dying bread. The food is always good and drinks are cold. The staff make it a 4 star place, but it is old and showing its age.

Love eating at the buffet here $ 1 a slice if you order to go during buffet hours, fresh salad bar friendly staff and a crazy drink machine. Great for families!

Went there today(7−11−15) and got the taco pizza with cheese stuffed crust. The taco pizza was cold and soooo bland!!! Taco pizza is supposed to have kick, bold flavor, and maybe even a little spice. It was devoid of all of that. It literally was tasteless and doughy. For $ 23.99, it was most definatly not worth the price! Could have found a million better things to spend my money on. So sad and disappointed :/

Saw that this hadn’t been reviewed in awhile and wanted to leave a comment., Honestly I would give probably a 3.5, but couldn’t bring myself to bump it up a full star. I was excited to try Godfather’s since I haven’t had it since I was a tyke. Overall, is this pizza great? No. But is it good for what you would expect from a multi-state franchise? Yes. I will confess to being a foodie, but sometimes you just want a good cheap pizza, and tonight this fit the bill. This is not gourmet, this is a self billed pizza buffet, and is exactly what you want when you have a party of ankle bitters, or a basement full of pre-teens. I will judge this off of the complete base model; a large cheese pizza(golden crust). The pizza it self was lighter then expected(Jumbo 18-inch), but did have a airy crust and dough. It was similar to a national chain’s pan pizzas but it wasn’t dripping in oil which was nice. The cheese wasn’t offensive and the sauce was pleasant, and not overly acidic. Service was good, from the phone operator who took my order, to the cashier who I paid and received my pizza. Nothing over the top, but courteous and nice. Nothing more and nothing less then expected. As a mid-size chain I would completely expect, occasional customer service issues and sporadic sub-par quality. Tonight, on this particular pizza Godfather’s turned out a pizza that was exactly what I wanted for how much I wanted to pay. The service was as any place should expect. Again, if you’re standards are high for a phenomenal pizza with white table cloth service you will be disappointed. If you want a few pizzas to feed the family, or a group of kids on a busy night, this place will do the job.

2 Stars for a manufactured frozen crust that contains Potassium bromate… not ok! Flavor of ingredients were tasty but the crust was a disappointment. You’re making pizza… it should look and taste like pizza, starting with the crust. Sorry :(

I must say after being long time customers, they have lost our business. I called in an order around 6pm last Sunday. Usually takes about 15 minutes to get done so went to get it around 620. By 7 pm they let us know that they have lost the order, had to search the computer system for the bill,(which had already been paid mind You) and had to remake it, as it was not made when it was called in originally. By 715 my husband asked to speak to the manager and informed them They were going to lose our business if they didn’t make it right. Without a blink he was basically told there was nothing that could be done, we were handed our order, and left. I tried calling the manager the next day to follow up and was told twice there was not one available. So while it’s been one of my favorite pizzas since moving to pdx, I wont be giving them any more of my money, or recommending them to anyone i know.

Great pizza, great service. Had my food done in only 15 minutes. Nice staff, and somewhat high, but reasonable prices. Good place to go with friends for a bite.

My office mates and I come here at least once a week for lunch. I don’t remember her name but the manager on shift when we come lunch is awesome. She greets everyone with a cheery, friendly smile and she knows her regulars. The pizza is pipin’ hot. I always enjoy myself here.

I ordered a large 3 topping and a side of breadsticks for delivery. The girl that answered was nice enough. The food literally arrived at the perfect time, just at halftime of the Florida Gulf Coast University upset over Georgetown. The pizza was delicious and the breadsticks made watching my bracket fall apart worth while. If you haven’t tried the thin crust pizza here, I highly suggest it.

The pizza is horrible. The service is worse. How is this place still open? Unfortunately I had to take my daughter to a kids birthday party here. I felt literally tortured.

«9−9−9» About a year ago I had never even heard of Godfather’s Pizza(there aren’t any in the part of CA I’m from). But, after hearing Herman Cain introduced non-stop as the former CEO of Godfather’s it finally came on my radar. I just assumed that it was another pizza brand in the freezer at the grocery store, but one day I was driving on Barnes and learned it really existed! So, I decided to give it a try. I’m surprised that the place was large inside, it reminds me of places I’d go as a kid with my team after soccer or baseball games to play around. But, I ordered take-out as I’m obviously much older now. The pizza was just alright, nothing spectacular. I prefer several other places in Portland. I suppose if it was closer and the only competitors were other chains, I might have it more often. But for now, this is my one and only stop here. Nothing memorable, but nothing to complain about either.

Call me crazy, but I really like the pizza here. The Hawaiian Supreme with pepperoni instead of ham… om nom nom! They’re inexpensive, they’re close to my house, and they’re yummy. Also, cheesy bread FTW! Seriously, there’s nothing not to love. I’m happier with them than I am with Domino’s most days.

Not to say that thick crust and all you can eat is a bad idea for everyone, but for me they have average pizza and salad bar and unless it’s really busy the pizza lingers…

I had a coupon. I checked Unilocal… bad reviews… damn…but I’m broke and it was a good coupon so I said f it and ordered anyways. The teenager on the other side of the phone was undoubtedly stoned — «oh shit«I thought as I hung up the phone«I’m doomed » . Much to my surprise, my pizza was great! Which is awesome because I have a whole coupon book and even if it wasn’t I would probably go back. The other reviews really spooked me so if you’re reading this don’t be scared away. Yes there is better places but if you’re close by and craving pizza this will do the trick.

The vegetarian pizza was inedible because the dough was not cooked much, i suppose it is harder to make a good one of these with regular(on the thicker side of crust) because vegetables have more water in them. But the classic combo was pretty bad too, taste wise. The crust is doughy and too much white bread like. the sauce has a peculiar taste to it. The only reason i am giving them two star is their service, they were trying hard to fix the pizza for us. I miss Mary’s Pizza in Peteluma!!! the best pizza of the bay area. Okay a little beyond the bay so what.
