Awesome Coffee to match the awesome hospitality! The incredible décor, super friendly baristas and chill vibe make Good Coffee a great spot to meet up with friends or simply relax over a yummy cinnamon bun(must try).

Pretty good pull of Coava’s Kenya Kimama. Love the environment, the layout and different varieties of seatings. Good selection of pastry from Bakeshop.

I don’t know if I caught Good Coffee at a bad time but service was okay, cold brew coffee was okay… Everything was okay. I was hoping for a bit more from this place. I’ll come back and give it another shot.

I love this coffee shop so much. Besides from the interior decorating and the Portland home vibes everyone is very friendly here and I love the different varieties of beans they use and sell. From companies like Madcap, Roseline, Heart, and Coava and etc. Love getting the expresso over ice or a cup of coffee. Also great place to study if seating is available :) Prefer this location over the other one.

I cannot believe I’ve driven by this place many, many times without ever stopping in. I have been on the hunt for the best coffee shop in Portland and Good Coffee did not disappoint. Their location is unassuming and a bit difficult to see right away, but the inside is beautiful and a great place to chat with friends or study(lots of outlets available). I had their latte and it was delicious. I don’t like my lattes too bitter and strong, and this one was perfect! Slightly sweet but definitely strong enough to give you a good caffeine hit. I also like how they serve their coffee in clear glasses! Definitely a unique place and somewhere I will return to soon!

I love this place. Minimalist décor with white and light wood, honeycomb floor patterns and plenty of tables. No free wifi though, so this is the kind of place to just sit, sip, and tip. I’m on the hunt to try Portland’s soy lattes and this one was well-done with a nice foam. It didn’t blow my mind or mesmerize my coffee tastebuds but the boyfriend swears by the vanilla latte now. If I’m ever in the area I’d definitely hit this place up!

Love this place. Baristas know what they’re doing and they are very knowledgeable of where the beans are from and how they were roasted. Super friendly staff as well, this is my new go to café!

This cute shop is the definition of those Portland coffee shops. The baristas here are friendly and were also nice enough to talk to my dad about coffee culture. The coffee here is great and the environment is cozy. There is no free wifi here or that I know of and there is only street parking for this shop. I ordered a simple latte b/c me and my brother were going coffee shop hopping and needed something light. The latte was good and the ambiance here is perfect. Definitely very happy to have stopped by at this location.

Great coffee place, amazing ambience and even better people working there. I had a great conversation about Latte Arts. I would definitely recommend this place.

Really enjoyed my latte. Some great tasting espresso. The environment was open and cozy. I love the large windows. It was pretty busy constantly so not the best working environment unless you don’t get distracted easily. The baristas are very pleasant and the wireless was great!

The coffee is, in fact, really good. The cinnamon buns are good, too. So if you’re stopping by to get something to go, this place is perfect. If you actually want to have a conversation over the pounding music, forget it.

In a city that is filled with coffee shops, I’m always trying new places. It’s not too far away from my home, and I feel completely at home here. The coffee is delicious, I’ve loved both of the seasonal latte’s I’ve tried. Very smooth, and the milk is always steamed to perfection — thank you Nick. The barista’s are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. They work with a sense of care and urgency and I appreciate it so much. Thank you for being here for me when I need a good latte and a place to sit and relax.

A warm place for a great latte. On our Portland vacation we wanted to start the morning slow and easy and Good Coffee on Division was the perfect place. Often times, minimal«hip» coffee shop décor can make the shop seem cold, but Good Coffee was full of inviting warmth. The barista was very nice, and seemed to know everyone who came in on the Friday morning. They served incredible lattes and suggested one of the deliciously spiced pumpkin muffins for a morning snack. Our next trip to Portland will definitely include another stop at Good Coffee for the irresistible warmth and laid-back, carefree vibe.

Starting off by saying this place is literally, good coffee. I drink mine black, so flavor is super important, and this place hits the freaking nail on the head. The Kenyan drip coffee they had was delicious! Really though, my review is more geared towards the staff and coffeeshop itself. Hands down the friendliest, most genuine, informative staff I’ve encountered so far at a Portland coffee shop. They had bags of coffee from 4 different roasters, with 2 – 3 varieties from each(lots of Ethiopian coffee, I’m all about it). The baristas were super quick and eager to help pick out a bag and nerd out on coffee talk. They weren’t snobby at all and were all about some casual conversation, making the shop super comfortable. Parking was pretty easy as well. Definitely coming back

I got a simple latte and it was great. They use local beans and have local bakeries provide treats. The atmosphere is modern but welcoming. Baristas are friendly, which can be a rare find in Portland. It’s in a quieter area of Division so even on a Saturday at 9:30am I didn’t have to wait in line. Better than Stumptown!

Quaint little café hidden in the corner of Division St and 48th Ave. Far far away from all the horrible traffic on 26 and downtown Portland. Free wifi. Plenty of space. And of course Good Coffee Literally. Had my daily dose of Cappa and also tried an interesting drink, Coffee soda. Tasted pretty interesting. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. :)

Had a fantastic espresso here. Came on a weekday and hung out for an hour doing some work. The staff is incredibly friendly and when they found out we lived in the Bay Area, we nerded out for a bit about Bay Area coffee. I barely hung with him as I know mostly stores, but not«flavor profiles» of coffee. Regardless, great coffee. I didn’t think their selection of food was too good but who cares.

Good coffee. Good people. Good design. Good light. Good place to work. Good location. Not so good selection of food(the usual coffee shop pastry case). But hey, I can’t bag on Good Coffee for doing what most coffee shops do. While I always wish for a few more options from the food section, this coffee shop delivers so well on every other aspect, there’s no question that it’s quickly becoming a favorite. They make great coffee, using a diverse rotating selection of craft-roasted beans. Said coffee is served up with a smile and friendly conversation. The space itself is gorgeous, with white and lighter wood colors, great tilework, interesting shelving and booth space, and all-around minimal yet elegant design features. It’s very aesthetically pleasing. And to think that this sits on what once was a run down corner of Division with a crappy vacant lot next to a defunct bird-bath company, well, it’s quite the improvement. I haven’t spent tons of time sitting and working here, but I could easily see myself doing so. It’s a great spot, the coffee is so good, and, well, it’s pretty much all good.

The original Good Coffee. I mean, there was good coffee before this shop existed, but they’re the first proper noun Good Coffee. Do you follow? While most of my time is now spent at their location on SE Salmon, it was this shop on SE Division that turned me on to this company’s great product, clean aesthetic and genuinely friendly staff. They serve Roseline and Mapcap coffee plus a small smattering of pastries. Honestly, there are other shops that have a much better selection of edibles, but I don’t come here for a muffin, I come here for the environment. So, lets talk about that. White on white, with huge windows facing south and east, this place has simply fantastic light. That really comes in handy when you work from coffee shops and are easily distracted. Plus, they play great music so if you forget headphones you aren’t stuck listening to crap. That’s probably more important than the light. I’m a sucker for aesthetics, and I’m a big fan of good people. Good Coffee has both. Oh, and of course the good coffee doesn’t hurt, either.

Today is the beginning of the winter rains, no doubt. I often spend most of my Sundays knitting and drinking coffee. I search out great spots for this joy. Criteria: good coffee, great lighting, and friendly staff vibe. Good coffee is on my weekly work/school/home drive and it has been beckoning me to check it out. The large windows drew me in. The simply and crisp wood interior design please the eye. Plants are thoughtful touch. And as for the staff, I found them friendly, observant and knowledgable.
