The stylist is awesome and always does a fantastic job. He also frequently has Vietnamese clubbing music blasting when I walk in, which just rounds out the experience.

Hidden gem! Seriously. Charlie is a talented and intuitive hair stylist– he always does a swift and precise job.
I currently work in San Francisco but discovered him on a visit back to Portland. Now whenever I’m in Portland I get my hair cut /​trimmed by Charlie. He is the one who got me from a bob to a faux hawk, and I have been very happy with the way he handled the transition.
As I’ve found out from going to expensive salons in San Francisco, handling a short hairstyle and keeping it feminine is quite challenging (especially since I have thick wavy Asian hair). Charlie did a great job from the get-​go, and I was SUPER happy with the results! I also got compliments galore.
The prices are unbelievably reasonable too. You’ll see when you get there. Highly recommended!
