Green Leaf Irrigation & Landscape

Buyer beware. They will not do the work and bill you for it. We receive invoices (5 of them so far even though they said they would remove the invoice) for clearing out our irrigation lines from 2014 — They never did the work. I turned off our irrigation after receiving the invoice. This year I was proactive and turned off my water. I just found a hanger on the door today from Greenleaf stating they had turned off our irrigation. This is a level beyond bad business — I would call this fraud.
We are taking a step and turning them into BBB. Not sure how many others are receiving invoices for work not done or door hangers that state they did work that they really didn’t…

I would like to give this company a 5 star recommendation, but also a 1 star recommendation.
Here’s the 5 star:
We needed the south side of our yard re-​graded so rain would flow away from the house. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price! I truly appreciate that they were willing to do this size of job without trying to convince me to do a huge landscape project. The guys who did the work were great. The work was scheduled and done in a very timely manner. I will definitely use them again this spring when I need more work done. So in regards to the actual work done 5 Stars!
Here’s the one star:
I got an email saying they would call me at the beginning of the week. That time passed with no phone call, and I had to call them. The response after that was great! Work scheduled and done on time. But the contractor was supposed to come over on the afternoon of the day the work was done, or «maybe the day after,» and he never showed up. So I waited around a lot. The next day I put the invoice and check in the mail, and sent them an email. I later got a call from the office, asking if the contractor had shown up. I said «No.» but that it was ok, because I was happy with the work. I then immediately got a call from the contractor, who quickly came by, reviewed the work. etc. So I did get responses, just not in the times that were set up.
The bottom line is that there seems to be some kind of disconnect between the contractors and dispatchers and their whole communication system. I really really hope they figure it out. I liked them a lot. My yard looks great.

Green Leaf did a remodel on our irrigation system last fall. Recently we broke one of the pipes with a shovel. We called and got on the list for repairs, estimated to be two weeks out. A few days later they were at our neighbors house, so we asked them about doing our repairs while they were in the neighborhood. They had the parts they needed and fixed the problem quickly. And they were smiling.

Guess these guys have a ton of business– called and left a voicemail… no return call.

I called and was put on a waiting list. But, I didn’t have to wait long. Kristen took the appointment when I called and was very pleasant to speak with. She was knowledgeable on the services and costs. Steve, the technician, was clean, fast, and professional. Prioritized the jobs I needed completed, suggested options, and advised me on the best plan of action to complete the work I wanted done.
Top notch service company from all aspects on my first service call. First impression was solid.

I called these guys after reading the reviews saying they were responsive. It’s what I needed. I am not exactly sure what was different on my end, but they were anything but.
I was on a very tight timeline, and willing to throw a lot of money at a one time clean up /​fix up, and it’s been well over two weeks and I am going with someone else.
I called them, was told they would be by in a few days to do a drive by and give me a price for the work I described needing to be done. After no communication I called again a week later, they said they still hadn’t come by but they were going to that day. I asked if they could just let me know the cost so we can move forward, and informed them again I was in a hurry.
They said they would that day.
Three more days went by, still hadn’t seen or heard from them, I called and left a message, and still no return calls. Very disappointed. Very unprofessional.

These guys rock! They tore out my front yard, tilled, top soiled, rolled and laid new sod in no time. They even came in under budget! Would definitely use them anytime I have landscape or irrigation needs.

Very pleased! Previously used other larger companies for irrigation repair and wasnt happy with being at the mercy of whatever random tech got sent to me. You can tell Green Leaf cares about their work and getting it done right. And last but not least their rates are very affordable. Highly recommend for irrigation work.

Curt scheduled me only a few days out. He and Steve showed up on time and fixed the broken pipe in 10 minutes, showing me the busted piece for inspection. The hourly rate was reasonable and I wouldn’t hesitate to call these guys again for irrigation issues.

Great Company ! You can trust these guys to do the job right the first time and on time and on budget. they get back to you within a reasonable time and they even Txt you back. I love txting. lol
So, i would hire these guys again in a New York minute. BTW my landscaping looks great and the sprinkler system works like money. thanks fellas

We were in desperate need of landscape services and on a tight timeline. Our renters left the previously meticulously manicured landscaping in shambles. I called 6 different companies. Green Leaf responded promptly (on a holiday weekend to boot), and were willing to work with our tight turnaround needs. They were friendly, professional and they got all the work done on time and on budget. They ripped up the old lawn, trimmed all the bushes, weeded, laid new lawn and bark and left the place looking like it did before our renters destroyed it. Curt even came back out with a invoice and offered to help set up our irrigation. What a great experience; we would absolutely recommend them!

The crew at Green Leaf put in a full sprinkler system in our front and back yard, they did an awesome job! Very professional, didn’t make a mess and have great communication! You really get what you pay for with these guys, highly recommend them.
They also fixed an old gate and built a new gate for us and they did a great job on that too! We would hire these guys again in a second.

Thankful for the talent and the knowledge that Green Leaf has! We had our entire yard landscaped without a sprinkler or drip system. With looking at many, there were three companies that we had bid out the project. We decided to go with Green Leaf because they are:

These guys are awesome! Here’s why:
— Super responsive: They came out to my house just a few short days after I made initial contact with them, returned all emails in the same day I sent them and finished the job on a short timeline.
— Thorough: We are a busy family with kids and school and needed a professional to come in and not only put in plants/​shrubs, but also suggest types of plants and where they should go We didn’t have time to answer a thousand questions about what we wanted and where we wanted it. These guys came by, got a good sense of what we wanted in about 15 minutes and came back with a detailed plan. The plan was on point and we rolled with it. This was convenient and easy. Met our needs to a T.
I would recommend Green Leaf to anyone with landscaping needs. I will definitely be using them again.
