yes yes yes! This place is every bit worth of time spent looking for parking. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and helped me with my selection of succulents, from plant to soil to pot. It’s a charming shop, with a variety of terrarium rocks and stones and whatever else you could think of. Forever my favorite(and healthiest!) succulent has come from here.

I stumbled upon the cutest little nursery during my last visit to Portland. I stopped by to pick up a terrarium to bring back as a gift… but ended up leaving with the most adorable air plant in an egg pod. They have so many wonderful plants which are perfect for décor or as gifts! The staff was really helpful as well, they also give you handouts on how to care for your plant when you make a purchase. Great place to check out!

I really like this place. I don’t usually buy plants, but after looking at the air plants and the combination of that with the sea shells, I had to get one. They have lots of options for you to choose to. I didn’t buy the deodorant, but the line one smells good. Remember to check in to get the $ 5 off for spending more than $ 25. My total ended up around $ 26 after discount. Got three air plants and 2 small shells and one big one.

Phenomenal. I’ve bought my last 4 gifts here and for my own birthday my boyfriend bought me 8 plants from here. Not only are the ladies who work here super personable and practice excellent customer service but, when my boyfriend forgot what all the plants were that he got me, I was able to take a picture of them all and have the ladies help me with care instructions. In addition to succulents, cacti, wandering jews, and adorable little venus fly traps, they also have some great artwork and jewelry. My boyfriend is a lucky man because he has now found a 1-Stop shop for all things to make me happy. Love you guys!

Located on burnside, across of Goodwill; When you enter you’ll be amazed by all of their indoor plants, they have a limited selection on tropical storm and an area where you can build your own terrarium! Of course as a small store in downtown prices will be a little higher than the Portland nursery but it’s cute and convenient, always support local(:

Great little boutique! Offers individual plants for sale as well as potted and decorated with other cute trinkets. They also have terrariums for sale. They also sell air plant fertilizer and materials for constructing your own terrarium if you want to put it together yourself. I picked up a few medium air plants and a succulent to fly back to NJ with me. I used the $ 5 off coupon from Unilocal!Very satisfied with my little babies. I wish I was able to pick up one of the larger ones but they were a bit too expensive for me $ 25-$ 40 dollars depending on size. Overall all though I loved my purchase and experience there!

We used Hammer and Vine for our Holiday Gifts for Clients this year and were blown away by the product and service Jenelle and her team offered. She was very attentive and helpful during the process of designing our own terrariums– we were pretty specific about what we wanted and ended up ordering 40+ terrariums. Hammer and Vine provided us with exactly what we wanted and we could NOT be more happy. We will definitely be using them again in the future and would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you, Jenelle and team for all your hard work.

Hammer + Vine is the perfect store for succulent/plant lovers! I recently started sprouting my own succulents and was happy to find varieties here that I have not seen at my local farmer’s market in SoCal. The store also has really cute pots and other crafty things you can browse and purchase. If I had more room in my luggage, I would have brought more succulents back home with me to California.

I absolutely love this store! They have some of the best air plant varieties, other wonderful plants and cute gift ideas. I will definitely be back to get plants for my terrarium. The prices were not what I would expect for a boutique in the NW district, they were surprisingly reasonable. The salesperson was very nice.

I went here because I wanted some succulents for my dining table. I like plants that are low maintenance and succulents do it for me! I got two beautiful succulents which the friendly girl at the store graciously potted for me in the planters I chose from their beautiful selection. They have a pretty good choice of plants and pots. They also have some jewelry for sale which I didn’t pay much attention to. Prices are a little on the higher side but not too bad. I would go back here for gifts and general home décor requirements.

Small, local shop that has a wide variety of fun gems, succulents, jewelry, etc. I was so excited to find this gem of a shop while visiting Portland! Prices for nursery plants are reasonable and the Jewelry was gorgeous. Staff was friendly, sweet, and informative. Thank you, Hammer and Vine!

This little store is small but they manage to pack a lot into it– I find myself spending a lot of time looking around each time I step in. They even have little frogs living underneath the register– so cute! . There are so many different types of plants and little gifts, I have to stop myself from buying it all. The last time I stopped by, I ended up getting cool looking carnivorous plant. You could probably find some of these items cheaper elsewhere but they probably wont be placed in such imaginative and creative ways. This store is definitely worth your time.

Small nursery and plant accessories shop nessled on Burnside. A lot of air plants and succulents… but also saw a mushroom growing kit, cheese making kit, various mosses and some good sized indoor plants too. Good prices and nice shop attendant.

Pretty much favorite shop in the neighborhood. Self proclaimed airplant addict with about a hundred of these things. Love the plants, the people working there and the selection which is always changing. Sure there’s tons of places to get airplants in Portland — and sure I can order a few dozen off Amazon cheaper. However the uniqueness Hammer and Vine has — and the fact they’re a small business selling art and plants makes me support a local shop that loves it’s customers. Much love to Hammer and Vine.

Been excited to stop in but busy«not smelling the roses» is more and more the case to be, sadly. We had some family from out of town visiting, and a Saturday market was a must. We ran into hammer and vine at the busy market, who knew they had a booth? My big sis was loving all the booth had to offer but I knew we had to hit the store too. It was something between a mad lab«little shop of horrors» meets eclectic nursery garden. We all walked out of there seeing little plants and art we had never seen before and made sure to take a little with us. Hurrah if only they held class we may have never left.
