I don ‘t know how anyone could give this place anything but a 5 star review. Completely traditional Hawaiian. Love everything they have. And Malasada’s on Saturday!!! Wow. Highly recommend.

This place is a big disappointment. The first time I have been here was a few years ago when this place opened, I am actually surprised this place stayed open for so long. I told myself after that experience that I would never come back. The food was gross, and nothing compared to all the other Teriyaki/Hawaiian places I have been. But a few days ago, I decided to give this place a second chance. I decided to get take out and ordered the chicken katsu and a spam musubi. I got home and boy was I disappointed, AGAIN! The chicken katsu wasn’t crispy but soggy because they put the sauce on top of the katsu. It was also tough, I don’t even think it was chicken, they probably gave me pork. The spam musubi wasn’t anything like how the first reviewer described it. It was just a layer of spam on top of rice wrapped with seaweed(nothing special). Now, once again, I am going to tell myself to never come back!

My family loves this place. It’s fairly basic, but man do they make a great Chicken Yakisoba dish. Be prepared to wait a little, because they make everything fresh — which is great for you! The veggies are crisp and fresh and the food is always steaming and yummy! The owner is super nice, and that funny logo they have on their sign was actually penned in his likeness. :o) Oh, I also highly suggest the spam musubi. I have an inexplicable love of spam musubi, but these guys make it with a slice on the top and bottom and little line of wasabi between the rice and spam. mmmm…
