I’ve been here twice and both times have been wonderful. I’ve had the dagwood sub and I’ve tried one of their specials, which was a burger. Both were very delicious and filling. The food is such good quality and tastes so good that I don’t mind spending more money than I normally would on lunch.

I was curious and stopped in for a sandwich. It was incredible — I highly recommend the Be-​if and mushroom sandwich. I wound up leaving with a pound of «pastrami.» I may never buy tofurkey again.

Hard to find, but worth the search. They offer a good enough selection of delicious sandwiches to warrant a return visit. The BBQ was too sweet for my taste, with little cool or fresh to counterbalance. Cute place, and nice people. Great for a casual lunch or dinner.

100% vegan.
The whole place seats about 15 – 16 people? But it didn’t exceed this during our time there so I wouldn’t worry about a crazy wait or anything.
The macnocheese is amazing! I highly recommend it, and you can buy the sauce then make it yourself at home too.
They also sell deli meats, they gave us a free sample of each to try and there were two that were our favorite — the one with ginger in it, and the one with beets in it. I forget their names but if you try them you’ll know what I’m referencing. Buy some to make your sandwiches for school/​work!
The Carolina chikn sandwich was great, but be warned it was spicy.
The BEIF with mushroom sandwich was super good.
The «Philthy nocheese stake» was a lot like an epic deli sandwich with everything on it.
And for those who have first tried homegrown smoker BBQ, it’s the deli version of that !

I love the cart and I really love this deli. The food is crave-​able vegan or not! You can get deli meetz and delicious sides to take home or grab a sando to eat in or take away. You have to try this place

Finally — I can get copious amounts of no-​cheese sauce and «loaves» of seitan for the holidays or times I just can’t be bothered to rinse and knead for myself. Slightly different menu than the cart and a cute little sit down area.

Just stopped by for lunch and it was just as good as the food cart on Mississippi. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and nice! I had the Philthy Nocheesesteak and a side of MacNocheese. Definitely recommended! So happy that this place opened on the west side.
They opened up right next to Vtopia which is nice also. I only hope Homegrown Smokehouse and Vtopia look into more bicycle parking soon. There are only so many poles in the area for people to lock up to. Either way, I know i’ll be here all the time now! :)
