It’s A Wrap

I found It’s A Wrap (Elita Mitchell) for my stepson’s Fall wedding. The bride and groom had some very specific ideas about how they wanted things to go, so finding a caterer/​serving service that wasn’t going to also provide the food was practically impossible. Initially, Elita agreed and signed up to help with set-​up, food service and clean up only. As the months progressed, plans continued to change and evolve. Elita handled these changes with ease and worked very hard to accommodate their wishes. By the time the wedding arrived, Elita and It’s A Wrap ended up catering the wedding and doing all the prep, service and clean up.
In an unusual turn, the bride and groom wanted pasta dishes for the meal. The pasta dishes Elita and her crew made were fantastic and fresh and included meat, vegetarian and vegan options. If you have ever made pasta in quantity, you know it is not easy to keep it fresh and hot (especially on a warm, summer day outdoors!) but they managed and it was delightful. A couple of days before the wedding, the original dessert plan fell through. Elita was able to network her resources and put together a spectacular cupcake variety and chocolate-​covered strawberry display that was not only beautiful but also sinfully delicious. This was a challenging event to plan for a number of reasons but Elita really rose to the challenge. I truly appreciated her «go-​getter» attitude and her ability to roll with the changes in plans (and there were many). Elita was able to take a lot of things off everyone’s proverbial plates so that they could concentrate on the special day at hand. This is what you need and what you want in a caterer. The day turned out beautifully. No one left hungry. And the bride and groom were able to mingle and enjoy their day with their families and friends.
We would recommend Elita and It’s A Wrap without hesitation. Most caterers may have flat out refused to make/​do some of the changes (last minute and otherwise) or would have tripled your cost. Elita did not do that and the additional cost was totally in keeping with the additional food and services provided. These kinds of major life events are truly special but also they can be stressful! Elita and her crew will get you through and you will come out the other side to a beautiful event.
