Jared Dean – State Farm Insurance Agent

There are two reasons I’m happy with these guys:
1) The quote they gave me beat pretty much everyone else I reached out to
2) There’s this feeling of security you get when you go with a big, reputable company while also having the benefit of knowing the name, address and phone number of a real-​life (and very nice!) human that you can reach out to when you need something.
We’re so used to dealing with machines and cold processes that I actually felt a little uncomfortable dealing with a person at first… but that sure does fade quickly when you realize what companies used to operate like. I’m a fan… of an insurance company. Weird, but true.

I was very upset with my insurance company when I stumbled upon Jared Dean State Farm. I worked directly with Auburn and she made the switch very simple for me. She was so helpful and knowledgable. On top of great customer service, she helped me save money! Who doesn’t love that?! She was able to bundle my car insurance with my renters insurance and I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was! I am new to getting my own insurance and we all know it can be hard to be an adult sometimes, I can’t stress enough how awesome Auburn is! She was a breath of fresh air. Very honest and straight forward with me. I appreciate her hard work and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I decided to change my car insurance from Liberty Mutual to Sate Farm after one call. Now I pay $ 50 less than I used to. This includes the price of my home insurance, too! Customer service is great. At the beginning I started my service with Luke. he was polite and friendly. He tried to provide me the best offer and discount, comparing with offers from other companies. Then, Amanda continued my service with providing all the information I need and she keeps me updated with all the important things in my policy. She is a nice polite person. When I forgot some information to provide, she contacted me very quickly and explained every thing to me, just to make sure that I understand everything about my service. I hope that this kind of good customer service will continue. I did not find people like Amanda and Luke when I used Liberty Mutual insurance. I did not see any respect or care when I called them to cancel my policy. Customer service is a great tool to judge on a company and People like Amanda and Luke will satisfy you and make you think that you made the best decision when you chose State Farm.

Amanda made my first home insurance shopping experience process a lot easier! Their rates were competitive when bundled with my auto insurance. As I engaged in comparing offers, I reached out to Amanda several times over the course of a day with specific questions about policy options, and to make sure everything I saw in other companies’ policies were covered in mine. She did a great job of simplifying things for me and was extremely responsive. We were able to wrap things up within a few days. Overall, this office is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

I have been working with this office for almost a year now and they are great. Amanda is so helpful. Any problems or issues I have with insurance stuff I just shoot her an email and I know it will be taken care of. She is really great! I have two cars and a home insured with State Farm and Jared Dean/​Amanda and I am very satisfied and would highly recommend working with them and I often do. Thanks Amanda for all of your help! The thing that left me in awe about Jared’s State Farm office is their ability to get things done. I have seen quite a few State Farm offices, but this one really stands out. The business is professional, fun, and pure know-​how in action. They took care of my policy and vehicle loan with precision. I have never seen something go so smoothly, which for me translates into trust and confidence in Jared Dean. If you shop here, you should expect to experience what it’s like to be truly taken care of.

I must say, I moved from Philadelphia PA and attempted to sign up for state farm there. It was a very bad experience and was VERY hesitant on even getting a quote from them here in Oregon. I am SO glad that I did. Special thanks to Meghan– she made it So simple and So easy. She broke it down for me and gave me quotes with and without collision and gave me her honest answers. A few months back, I found myself in an insurance predicament. I bought a new car and needed to get official with that asap only to find out my then current agent had been fired! Ack!
Jared Dean’s office saved the day; I was able to transfer everything over asap. They were super quick with getting me everything needed, draft up new policies for the new car and continue other policies I hold with State Farm.

I recently moved to Portland and needed to transfer my policy over to a statefarm agent. I googled the nearest agent and Jared Dean’s office came up. I called and spoke to a very friendly receptionist and was able to contact my former agent from California. When I came in to meet Amanda and she was very knowledgeable and super sweet! I have always loved statefarm insurance and I am really glad I chose this office to handle our insurance needs!

Look! Shopping for insurance is not typically a particularly fun experience. Responsibility and all that!!! But, when it comes to the best insurance agency in the Portland area, these guys are it. Their entire office is staffed with people who make finding and purchasing experience painless. They have great follow up; communication is timely and they provide you with all available options and help guide in making the right decision for you and your family. At some point or another I have worked with most of the employees at Jared Dean State Farm and they are all top notch. Special mention to Meghan though. She’s just really great! If you’re looking for a local agent, I highly recommend you choose these guys.

Very helpful! Staff worked hard to get me the most affordable, best coverage for my car. Prompt communication. They even did a follow up meeting with me to make sure that i knew exactly what i was getting, and to fully educate me on my coverage. Very happy with the service they provided!

I had a much better experience buying car and renter’s insurance than I expected here. They made it so easy and painless, really. I was able to set it all up over the phone and then went in to sign.
