When something bad happens to your car, and if you are like me, something bad is always happening to my car, its comforting to know that there are some good guys out there ready to help.
Some jerk stole the window off of my Suzuki soft top one night. I know, what a random and asshole move right? Actually, my poor little car gets messed with almost every night.
So anyway, I need a new window. Guess what? Suzuki doesn’t make that part for my car anymore. The fellas at Jim Stevens tracked down a forlorn window sitting someplace in Ohio.
The kindly gentleman had my new window installed in a flash and I was on my way. Off to the hardware store to invest in some steel cable and padlocks to keep those valuable windows attached to my car and out of some rando’s shopping cart.
My car needs some additional work and when I’m able, you can bet I’ll return to Jim Stevens.

Had a great experience at this shop. Worked with Shane to get a bumper and hitch repair done and everything was handled quickly and efficiently at what I felt to be a very reasonable cost. Two days to get parts and two days to get the repairs done. Hard to beat that for quick! Would highly recommend these guys …

Today was my second time taking my car in to Jim Stevens. I took my car again because the first time around it was a good experience. Today reaffirmed for me that these guys are honest, trustworthy, fast, and do a good job. I mean, I signed up for Unilocal just because I was really impressed with my experience! Any question I had, they gave it to me straight. The business has been around a long time, and I’m confident they’ll be around for years and years to come.

I recently visited Jim Steven’s Auto Body and will tell you that working with Shane was about as good as it gets. What I needed was not big and one of the gentlemen there was basically going to tell me that I needed to go to a dealer. Shane jumped in and figured out that it was a quick fix to a small broken piece that he probably had available. He got up from his desk, figured it out and resolved it and had me back on the road in about 20 minutes. I am not sure I have ever been treated so well at a body shop. Great Job Shane!

I’ve taken my car into Jim Steven’s Auto Body on two occasions for body work. Thanks to parking my car on the street in NW and several thoughtful Portland drivers I’ve come out to find my car dented and otherwise scarred with no notes left.
I took my car there the first time due to a few reviews I found during my Google search and because they were an approved shop according my insurance company. There are several men who work in the office and run the repair shop and I dealt with all three of them. One is a bit taciturn, but the other two are friendly and personable. They were very good at communicating what needed to be done in a straight forward and sympathetic manner.
Both times I was surprised at the speed at which I would get my car estimated and scheduled and the timeliness of the repair. And finally, the work itself was excellent. They took great care in correcting the problem areas and the paint job was perfect. You really cannot tell anything had ever happened to the car.
The only glitch occurred when they repaired my door and then I drove my car out to my dad in Olympia. He discovered a few days later that the auto door lock stopped working and took it to the local Honda dealer in Olympia where they repaired it. (Apparently there was a loose cable in the door.) We contacted Jim Steven’s Auto Body and they said it was likely some wiring they didn’t secure properly and to just bring the bill from the dealer by the shop so they could ensure it was the same door they worked on. A week later my dad brought the bill by the shop and they immediately cut him a check for the amount of the repair. Outstanding and smooth correction of an error. I highly recommend this shop for excellent service and ethical behavior.
