Kismet Design: Erin Marshall

I rent an apartment that we project to live in for several years. I had general ideas of what I wanted, but didn’t know where to start. We gave Erin some basic ideas («modern tropical», greens) and she created room diagrams that we could choose from. We had a small budget so we used her time for ideas and creating the diagrams only. We executed the plan. She choose our paint colors, sent us ebay items that would match our theme, via text gave us a go/​no-​go opinion of things we wanted to get within our schema. We painted, searched out tons of stores (online and her favorites in Portland) for items, moved furniture, hung, nailed, and put together items by ourselves. With our hard work and Erin’s suggestions, we were done in one month. Now our place looks fantastic and we are so pleased. We spent around $ 700 on Erin’s services and it was well worth it. She came up with things we would would not, like furniture placement. Thank you Erin!

My latest project required design, flexibility, and tolerance. Erin has come through with flying colors! Erin is not «above» the client, but constantly offering concepts and schemes that make sense. I can’t wait to finish this job and get Erin busy working the next adventure.

Erin ideas are wonderful and being able to see them come to life is fantastic. She really goes that extra step, no matter how small the project is. I have used Erin on several projects and they went smoothly and beautifully!
