A spanking new coffee shop with 1 electrical outlet for the entire place? Meh.

I just discovered the Leftbank Café this morning. I was in serious need of good coffee and a little nibble of food and I just couldn’t bring myself to walk the block for Starbucks(note I said good coffee). Leftbank Café is in the Leftbank Project which I recommend you all check out at some point or another. The building and space is great — very Portland. Anyhow, they serve Stumptown coffee which is an A+ in my book and have a small menu with sandwiches, soups and other café type food items(bagels, pastries etc). I had a toast it yourself kettleman everything bagel and my buddy had a muffin which he practically inhaled the second the barista handed it over while mumbling something like, ‘Mowdises-purtygoo.‘ The café is not really conveniently located since it’s on the corner of a very busy intersection. Not much foot traffic — but if you find yourself in the area stop in grab a coffee and just walk around the building. They encourage that actually and have art work and other businesses in a sort of open air setting.
