My husband and I have been here twice this year for Blazers games. We have greatly enjoyed both experiences. Here is our experience/tips in a nut shell: Parking: First of all, buying a parking pass ahead of time is a must. We parked in the east lot… it’s super close and this last time we were back on the 5 within 7 minutes, you can’t beat that! $ 15 is completely worth not having a headache of finding parking nearby especially if you’re not from Portland. Food: DELICIOUS! Come hungry because there will be lots that you will want to try. I was absolutely thrilled this last time to find a Bunk Sandwiches stand… a great game AND my favorite sandwich? What could be better?! They did not disappoint!(The pork belly cubano is a must try!). Totally worth the price in my opinion! On our first visit I went to one of the regular concession stands and had the large popcorn, it was spendy and so, so salty. I couldn’t even get ¼ of the way through it because of the salt… hopefully it was just that batch but I’m not going to spend over 8 bucks again just to find out. Seating: we bought our tickets around Christmas time so we got an awesome deal… around 80 bucks for 100 level seats. The view was awesome, but, the seats were kind of disappointing. They were regular stadium seats but you could feel people 5 seats down from you move and they didn’t have cup holders… which is a downer when you are at risk for accidentally dropping the beer that you spent a lot of money for. Who likes holding their beverage throughout the game? Not me! Staff: There always seemed like their was plenty of staff/security on hand if you needed something. I didn’t need any help but if you did, I don’t think it would take more than half a minute to find a staff member. They seemed nice and eager to help those that needed it. I enjoyed being able to go to the game early and watch the pre-game warm ups. I also liked the intro to the Blazers at the start of the game. The lighting was great and the audio system was easy to hear throughout the entire event. It’s obvious that things are well planned/thought out with the design of the Moda Center and NBA games. Everything from beginning to end of our trips here were enjoyable. We will definitely be back for more games.

My kids got me tickets to a Portland Trailblazers game for my birthday. I was very excited to go to the game. I ended up going with my friend Kelly. We had a. fun time. The seats were actually pretty good. The Blazers won their game and the crowd was excited. The worst part of the whole experience was trying to get a parking place. The cost for parking is almost as much as the ticket, and it costs even more to park in the garages. I had to park 4 blocks away. I’m glad it wasnt raining. The game was great, but getting there sucks!

The service and atmospher were nice but the food was old tasting and stale. The price was extreme but expected. I had noodles that dissolved and kids had chicken wings that the chicken had a taste of sitting out.

I will confess and will come out clean. This may also sound hardcore. But the real reason I went to Portland Oregon is to watch a Portland Trailblazer game who is hosting my Golden State Warriors. I bought the tickets back in September for relatively cheap and then later skyrocketed dramatically within weeks of the game. From the outside, there is a plaza with businesses and restaurants including the Widmer Brewing Company. Moda Center is located within a few blocks of the convention Center and light rail stops right across the street from the arena. Also my hotel is down the hill and walking distance to the arena, which is very conveniently. You can tell I heavily did the research on my trip. Inside the arena, there are three levels(main, mezzanine and upper-level). Walking around the arena is more ample and spacious then cramp Oracle arena. For food, there are your usual hot dog and beer vendors. Also there are Bunk’s Sandwiches and Killer Burger’s, both popular Portland’s eateries. The only thing I bought at the game is a bottle of coke for $ 6.00. Inside the seating area, the ushers were very nice in allowing me to see up close Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors practice and shoot-around. I was surrounded by thousands of Warrior fans at this game. I have also seen a few fellow season ticket-holders made the trip to Portland to watch this game too. With the Golden State Warriors moving to San Francisco hopefully within the next few years, I assume the concept and architecture would be very similar to Moda Center; and then some.

The facility itself is great– modern design, lots of space and lots of amenities. The signage(for seating, bathrooms, etc) is very clear and helpful. Seats are comfortable. I’ve seen Blazer games and Winterhawks games here, and I prefer it to VMC. Parking is ok– slightly awkward and people always over-park in their spaces, which is frustrating. My biggest complaint is the exceptionally– truly exceptionally– RUDE parking attendants and flaggers. I paused tonight on my way into the garage to ask the flagger to repeat what he’d said because I couldn’t understand him(he was shouting directions at cars as they tried to enter the garage). He swore at me, told me I was«stupid» and to «get the hell out of his way.» Wow. I was speechless.

The seats and leg room are tiny. Average sized or larger people be warned! The food was okay but the sodas were way over priced!

Big stadium and they have my favorite beer! Widmier Hef! We were in town from Sacramento in October visiting family and decided we would go to the Kings vs Blazers game. It was such a fun game to go to although it was a preseason game. We got good seats and it was super cheap! I would def enjoy going to other games here in the future.

Moda center is really big and has some really nice features. We sat in the very top row and could still see the court pretty well. The lines at the bars are pretty crazy. I left about a minute before halftime and didn’t get back until a minute after halftime. With that said they did have excellent beer selection and had more 10 Barrel than you will see anywhere other than the brewery. Saw an away game here and the Blazers fans weren’t too bad considering I was in their house though they did try and see if I was a bandwagon fan by asking what colleges Warriors went to. Happy to say I passed.

OMG. I just have to say that parking for this place… stinks. Like really… REALLY. Other than that, the place is awesome. I went during a basketball game, and there’s just so much to do for everyone. Lots of places to eat. And good places, too! Places that scream«Portland!» Lots of activities for kids — they have face painting, basketball hoops, sign making, etc. It’s clean. There are recycling/trash bins everywhere! There are employees everywhere. And most of the ones we came across were nice and helpful. I think the only little issue was that I ordered food during halftime, and the employee at the register was quite a bit frantic. I think the people in the kitchen were playing around, because she seemed most annoyed by them. I was starving, and the food took a bit of time. So, I could understand her frustration. Anyway, I definitely can’t wait to go back for another event… and we’ll just go extra early to park!

Solid experience… you come here for fun… you’d have to be a real curmudgeon to walk away with a sour experience… or on the losing team I suppose. As with all venues, the staff it’s mostly helpful… a few seem disinterested and barely in the realm of reality, but hey, it’s part time minimum wage type stuff… you expect it. We were there for the Winterhawks game against the Tri Cities Americans… we won on an exciting penalty shot in overtime… I know this venue hosts a lot of events, but even as a non-hockey fan, this has got to be one of the most thrilling! We were also there on Cub Scout night… it’s nice to see some of these larger organizations give back to the community. Go Hawks!

Well flew in for a concert the other day … Very bright and open inside; easy to find your section or just walk around, as it is just a giant circle. Alot of food options They do also sell alcohol; beer, wine, and I saw a legit bar with cocktails. The ushers were very nice and helpful. On my ticket it said to access floor seats to go to Front row near center I bought the Motley Crue 2 tickets and(Too fast V.I.P package) It what most spend on a new car but I’m worth it. Back stage before meet and great autographs You name it we did it. There are 3 levels in the venue. The concert was fantastic. Motley Crue Rocked it for hours the night was priceless and this Moda center brought the Sound out right its a great place Check it out The sound was great and the lighting was great. I am all about the sound though; the bass and vocals and the Lead Guitar was epic Mick Mars rules. and I Rock.

Been to Rose Garden quite a few times before when I lived there, now with it being called the Moda Center, I was able to come back to Portland when I got Blazers tickets. It’s still a very nice arena, clean, modern, techy, good amount of fan shops, and some pretty good food options. Saw a Blazers vs Lakers game and had a good time, we got there early so we were able to walk around and check out some eats. We decided to stop at this chicken joint called«Fowl Language»…funny name, basically a fried chicken strip basket w/fries. You do have the option of choosing dark or white meat. It was pretty good and perfect to go with a few of Portland’s finest brews to wash it down. Club level seats are awesome, comfy chairs, mostly season ticket holders in this area. Good food options on that level as well with Salt & Straw ice cream being the popular spot with ridiculous lines. Food and beers are pricey as expected so eat some instant ramen for a few days and save a few extra bucks to enjoy yourself while here. Overall, I loved coming back to Portland and had a great time at modacenter.

Compared to most stadiums this one is pretty sweet. The escalator is a sweet feature so you’re not climbing a bunch of staircases compared to KeyArena or Talking Stick Arena in Phoneix.

Three and a half stars would be my rating if that was an option. My friends and I went to the Hozier concert on a Tuesday night. It was pretty busy trying to get checked in to the Moda Center, but the workers promptly scanned our tickets and were friendly about it. Food options wise, some of the vendors are quite pricey! Thankfully I ate before arriving. When we finally arrived to the seating area, the opening act was already playing, so it was hard to find our seats without the light of a phone flashlight. Once we got seated I noticed there were no screens. We were kinda far back and I was bummed that I couldn’t see Hozier’s glorious face. Regardless of all that, he sounded amazing so I assume the sound system was pretty nice. Overall, an enjoyable experience I would say!

A great venue over the years no matter the name change. Clean, Safe, Great vendors, Generous bathrooms. Always accessible by public transpo. Every seat seems fair for viewing. Last night for a brief period I was worried about a view of Madonna, ticket said SideView and there was this black curtain blocking most of the main stage. Luckily, the curtain was removed and my friend didn’t kill me, tickets were expensive. Also, fab for Blazer games — and if you are relaxing near some of the bars in the lobby there are always good TVs to watch of either current game or some other important game — ie. local Football. I find the hospitality of the vendors kind and accommodating. One super annoying thing about last night’s visit was that our section was 213 — seemed like we were heading in the right direction. 213 was not near 211 or 212 — and we had to up stairs on the Kuni Lexus level, which is fine, but so out of place for the rest of the numbering. Our seats weren’t special club level or anything. The first person to give us help wasn’t that thorough. The second usher was more detailed in helping us find our section. Luckily, we didn’t miss any of Madonna. Cocktail was weak, surprised they had Prosecco. Great Beer.

Very similar to the PNE forum in Vancouver, 90% concrete. I came here tonight for the Foo Fighters. The sound was shitty which was not surprising considering the structure. Had I known in advance than I would’ve passed on coming here. Thankfully I love the band enough that I was able to put on my rose covered glasses. Security was awesome, kind and laxed. They charge $ 1 for ear plugs. $ 9.50 for beer! Free unlocked wifi in the venue. The layout is confusing and got lost 3 times.

First time coming to an event at the Moda Center — 9÷4÷15 for Ariana Grande. I didn’t park, I was dropped off outside of the venue and had to wait in no lines to get into the building. Easy access to freeways. Pretty venue from the outside too, there is another venue next door(I think I heard it’s called The Colosseum), and there are a bunch of cool fountains outside. Run fast by them or you’ll get wet — lesson learned. Very bright and open inside; easy to find your section or just walk around, as it is just a giant circle. Tons of food options — most of them I hadn’t ever heard of, but they all looked and smelt fantastic! I indulged in just a pretzel with cheese cause I am boring, and it was delicious. They do also sell alcohol; beer, wine, and I saw a legit bar with cocktails. The ushers were very nice and helpful. On my ticket it said to access floor seats to go to 23A, but when I got there the guy told me to go to 26A — no problem. The usher on the floor was funny and sociable as he escorted me to the 7th row. Looks like there are 3 levels in the venue. The floor seating can be either GA or sectioned. The concert was fantastic. The sound was great and the lighting was great. I am all about the sound though; the bass and vocals were spot on and very clear. Would definitely travel back down to Portland for another show at this venue.

Love love love their guest services. They are so nice to my mom who needed a wheelchair. They come right out to the car, pick you up, and deliver you to your seat.

One of the most popular venues for sports and concerts in PDX. I’ve been to NBA games and concerts here, and had a great time on both occasions. Well managed, and good crowd control are the top draws. The accoustics(for concerts) are great and seating is decent. Only thing I will say is DONOT drive to the center, parking is a nightmare. Take the MAX which is very convenient and save yourself time and worry.

Nice place, I still can’t believe they added standing room only for games. I had no idea that was a thing. Great new restaurants have been added, and the atmosphere is great! Overpriced drinks and food, but you have to expect that a place like this.
