Amazing job! I got solar nails and they look so natural. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Needed a bit of relation time and feet pampered before my vacation to Maui. Over the phone lady spoke perfect English, but the male staff who sat down to work had language barrier. I couldn’t figure out the details of products used and there was limited communication. I’ve had few cases where this has been an issue with other spas, but at least the quality of the cuticle care and hot stone massage was very good. No pain or excess heat.
Ordered deluxe pedicure for $ 35 and additional $ 5 for treatment. Spent 15 minutes on nail care, 10 minute for applying moisturizing treatment, another same time frame for massage and hot stone, with towel wrap and polish applied. Finished by 5:15 pm so it was timely and efficient. Found a color that matched my manicure I got done earlier today. So overall it was satisfying result. Appreciated to his attention to detail and care, and in the end that’s what matters the most.
Scent wasn’t bad either, as last place I walked out from toxic fume infused. But it could also be due to low client count, but regardless it was noted. Since it was very cold in the facility, I requested hot tea. Lady who’s been on the phone for an hour gave me a disapproving look and muttered under her breath in her language. Didn’t even smile when I thanked her. Here I was waiting till she got off the phone this whole time.
Add: It’s 6:10 pm and I’m still here. Nail polish was affected when applying slipper and also when I tried to check the hardness after half hour wait.
Which means I’m very late for dinner appointment. I appreciated fixing it, but that added half hour wait time and my priority was to meet my friends for dinner. Now I am wearing flip flops with bell bottom… He was very earnest and I’ve no complaints of the quality of care, but time efficiently needs improvement. One hour wait is just too long.
That takes one star down. Most likely not coming back, which is too bad as it was one of better cuticle cleaning that was painless and detailed.

It was my first time getting false nails applied and, while they are beautiful, the nail tech was not especially patient in explaining the process to me. I would ask questions but responses were difficult to understand through her very thick accent. It’s a good thing my boyfriend accompanied me as she had no interest in carrying a conversation. I suppose that is my only complaint as my nude stiletto nails came out very nicely and the process was comfortable.

I do not recommend this nail salon! Whoever did my nails obviously had no idea how to properly cut and care for cuticle beds, etc. and I’m sure she’s not the only one there who doesn’t cut nails properly! A few days after the manicure every spot on my cuticles and the skin next to the nail that she trimmed or cut became red, inflamed, I got at least 3 hang nails on each side of the nail, and to top it all off it hurt like hell!
Every last finger was swollen except for one pinky. I had to wrap every finger in ointment and band aids and alternate soaking my hands in ice water to relieve the pain. Never again. That could have been even worse had I not taken care of them! I don’t know if they have terrible hygiene with their products or if it’s how they use their products or both but I will never go back!

I have been here two times before and have always kept it simple and they turn out alright (nothing special). I came in yesterday for a full set and wanted a square/​round, sport cut, plum matte colored set (again very simple).
–the pinky nail was shaped round, THEN she asked «you wanted round right?» (little late for that)
–the sides/​cuticle were filed down so low I started bleeding a little on a couple fingers (painful, like paper cuts)
–the polish was scratched up looking
–the matte wasn’t on my entire nail so the gloss polish shown through
–then at the end she was frustrated that I wanted to pay with a card (AND I STILL TIPPED HER because she was upset about the card and I felt bad, even though my nails were poorly done!).
If you know exactly what you want then I wouldn’t recommend this place, always be direct with what you want or you need an open mind going in. Again, I have gone in times before hoping they could redeem themselves (so I’m not dogging on them just because «this» set didn’t turn out), it’s been multiple occasions. I would have went back and made her redo them but the process was too painful for me and I don’t think I could of handled another hour of that.
Sorry, I feel bad for putting this but I don’t want people going through the same thing I did!

I came here for a manicure and pedicure without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon. At first, I was not impressed with the customer service given that they told me to pick a color and I waited for about 20 minutes with my feet sitting in lukewarm/​cold water. I was just about to leave when Luan came to service me. He did a wonderful job on my feet and hands and was so sweet. Given that I am new to the area, and he is from Vietnam, he gave me some suggestions for Vietnam restaurants in the area. Luan — the 4 stars are for you! :)

In Portland in the middle of 4 week vacation I was searching for a place to get a pedicure and acrylic fill. None of the places I walked by did acrylic so I used Unilocal App to find this place. I was greeted immediately and all of the women were friendly and helpful. The pedicure was very nice and the foot/​calf massage felt great on my tired feet. Mel did my acrylic fill and did a wonderful job. She was very friendly, talkative and friendly. I noticed many women that seemed to be regulars having their nails done. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area needing these and other nail services.

Extra points for great customer service … the manager was very accommodating when I discovered I’d lost my wallet. She was skeptical that I’d come back to pay, but she didn’t give me any grief. For the record, I did return within the hour after a visit to the nearest branch of my bank!

Ask for Vanna, she is very sweet. I got a regular spa pedicure for $ 25. It was worth it with the attention to detail to the cuticle and scrubbing, hot towel, and massage. They for charge $ 1 for the toe separator, file, and buffer which is good meaning you get a new one. Remember to bring it back. I’ll be back for the gel manicure for $ 25. They don’t charge extra for soak off old gel which is nice since some other nail salons do. I came when they opened with no appointment which mean s I got in right away.

One of my favorite salons to go to; especially during my lunch hour… and the complimentary glass of Resingly definently makes my lunch a little more relaxing.

DO NOT REMOVE YOUR NAILS here! The color was not removed prior to being cut off and she swiped to remove the artificial nails as if I was credit card machine! And she stabbed my pinky! So she basically rushed me bc she had an appt.

I enjoyed my pedicure and their service so much I came back the next day! Though I wish my heels got a tiny bit more attention the massage felt so amazing! I’m so happy they could fit me in 20 minutes before closing and they gave me the Most soothing manicure hand massage. Great choices of colors though there’s so many it takes a little time for me to decide on which one! The ladies here are SO FRIENDLY and nice, they do their best to make you happy and comfortable and that means so much! Plus they’re not that far from where I live which is even better. I think I found my favorite nail salon.

I hardly ever get my nails done so u decided to try shellac since I’ve heard that it lasts longer than normal polish. I found Morrison Nails on Unilocal and decided, after reading reviews, to try them out. BEST DECISION EVER. I am absolutely impressed! Every one is super nice and they do a great job! Not even 5 minutes out of the door, and I’m writing this review. Will be back!

I love this salon. Everyone is always so friendly and I have never left unhappy. I always come here to get my acrylics done and Nina is amazing! I just switched to shellac today and I couldn’t be more pleased!

It is time for me to enlist my rarely used writing skills so I can tell you how much I love this place. Morrison was suggested to me by a friend and I have been going ever since I moved to Portland six months ago. I have LONG, high maintenance nails. It is hard to find someone who can do them correctly. My nail tech Nina always does a great job. The ladies are friendly, the environment is clean, and service is consistent. I like coming here because its close to work, target, I like my nail tech, she is fun to talk to and I’ve actually branched out to enjoy more services such as pedicure, facial and waxing. Stop by… have a glass of wine and enjoy. Check out the photo of my nails, I always get compliments and my nails LAST.

I like this nail salon the best out of any other place I’ve tried in PDX, and I feel like I’ve tried them all.
The pedicure is $ 25 and worth the price. You get a free drink of your choice, which includes white or red wine. I always get white wine and it’s always tasty. The massage chairs are amazing, and crazy intense. The pedicure is very thorough, and the ladies who work here are sweet. The hot wax is an extra treat that not many places will do, or it costs extra. My pedicures never chip when I get them from here. They last much longer than normal.
The only thing I can say is that I often make an appointment with 2 other ladies (so 3 of us), and they don’t seem to ever be staffed to handle more than 2 girls at a time. Every time, 1 of the 3 of us will have to wait about 20 minutes for someone to do their pedicure. So I would say to be careful of this if you’re going with a few other people, at least on Sundays.

Coming here for a lunchtime pedicure is probably one of the best ideas I have ever had. There’s nothing like taking a timeout from work to get pampered. It’s even better when the pampering is done right.
Pedicures are $ 25, $ 28, and $ 35. I went all out and got the still affordable Deluxe Pedi just out of curiosity. What a treat! There was sugar scrub, there was paraffin, there was mask, there were hot stones… It was awesome. My legs and feet are radiant. The only thing is I thought the massage was better at my other nail place. No big deal. It was still great.
I had a great experience. They are friendly and I feel good. I’ll be back for sure. Maybe next time I’ll be able to take advantage of the complimentary glass of wine ;)

For the past three years I have been devoted to the shellac manicure.
Although I live in downtown Portland, I have a regular place that I’ve been going to in Lake Oswego. I LOVE my Lake Oswego ladies. Sometimes they are so busy they can’t fit me in when I need an appointment. When that happened I called Morrison Nails Studio and without fail, they have always accommodated me.
Although they accept credit/​debit cards, note that cash payment gets you a 5% discount.
The gal that has done my nails and the other ladies are nice. While not overly friendly, they do make conversation. I have no complaints about their table side manner.
What is most important, I have noticed is that they seem to take a shortcut. At my favorite salon, they put a bonding coat on before they apply the base coat. I’m not a professional but I do know that my manicure from Lake Oswego consistently lasts much longer.
Although I can just walk to this salon, can always get an appointment and a cash discount, I would much rather make the drive to Lake Oswego.

I found this salon by looking on Unilocal,I was in need of a manicure, pedicure and brow wax the day before my grandpas memorial service. It ended up working out that I came here while my husband was getting his haircut nearby.
The experience itself was ok, about 4 stars. The bathroom was gross, but other than that it was clean and the technicians were pleasant. I had a shellac pedicure (the one with all the upgrades) regular manicure and a brow wax, it was about $ 80 total. I was totally happy when I left, however my services did not last well. My manicure chipped off severely after two days (see photo). I have been getting shellac pedicures for two years every 6 – 8 weeks and what happened next I have never experienced, the polish on two of my toes fell off within two weeks, I had to find a similar shade to touch them up. Now a month later I have a totally busted pedicure that has not lasted.
The only think that was not screw up was my brow wax which is why this is not a one star review, even though that is what they probably deserve. I will never come again.
