This food is AMAZING… And the service is something else… I mean seriously, we found a place to sit near the cart and the woman (maybe Mrs T herself?) brought the food out to us, asked us did we need anything, we decided on a bottle of water and she went and got it for us. I’ve never had better hand dipped chicken strips, flavored to perfection, and my other half had the catfish… We moved here from Charlotte NC and this catfish is comparable to a fish fry in the South. And her Mac & Cheese and Cabbage are like straight off the Thanksgiving table at Memaws house… Do yourself a favor and stop here on your next Cartlandia visit!

I tried the catfish with 2 sides. It took about 10 minutes to get my food which is average for everything in the area. The catfish was really good. Nice and tender and the breaking didnt get in the way if the flavor. The sides that were available were kinda limited but I don’t mind, all the stuff I wanted was ready. I had the Mac n cheese, it was amazing. If I wasn’t told it was deep fried, I never would have guessed. The other side was fries, but those are kinda hard to screw up. The only real issue i have is a big one and that is the corn bread. That is a bit if a staple when it comes to southern food and the cornbread was really lacking. It was dry and kinda tasteless. I’ve made better corn bread at home.
Other than that, it was delicious.
