It was good. The pot stickers w/raspberry sauce were good. My husband had the fried calamari and I had the steak bites. For dinner fried chicken, which was good with mashed potatoes. My daughter had pork sandwich with fries. It was good. The mixed drinks are STRONG… lol. We had strawberry lemonade, and margarita, and husband had glass of Merlot. It’s a bit noisy but that didn’t bother us. They were busy! Plus they were so busy, it was hard for the two waiters but they did great considering. Good food, and it’s decorated cute inside. The waiter recommended the fried chicken or enchiladas. The fried chicken dinner was hearty, and comfort food. I think I’ll try the enchiladas next time. I wish I could give 3.5 stars. However I’m kinda picky I guess. Worth trying again, definitely.

Hit up Cinema 21 for a movie and then headed into Muu-Muu’s right next door. I followed all the reviews and took a look at the very versatile menu. We got there fairly early so had a lot of the place to ourselves. Atmosphere is very cozy and easy going. So was the person that waited on us all the way down to making me my fussy martini that I always like. Made it perfect. The food was delicious and filled us right up without breaking the bank either and we didn’t choose from the happy hour menu! Just felt right at home and if I lived closer or visited this area more I’d definitely be a regular.

My boyfriend and I went here and it looked so nice inside we were excited to try a new place. But when we ordered the food it was so awful. I just could never come back here. The food was just cold and tasteless we were so disappointed. I think you pay more for the location and the way the restaurant looks. The food is so dry and plain.

Our server was really nice and we were happy with him. Unfortunately, he was the ONLY server on the floor and it took about an hour to finally get our food. In addition, the kitchen forgot to put the chicken in the noodles I ordered, but they caught it after and gave me 2 pieces of chicken skewers on the side. The food was good, service was good, but I hope that the restaurant management would have a better plan of having more than 1 employee working the entire floor. I would’ve given this place a 4 if it weren’t for the long wait.

Got some takeout here pretty late at night. Was concerned about the late hour, but the food was solid. Went for the potstickers and the Shanghai shredded pork with noodles. The potstickers were great. The noodles were a little dry, but the flavor was there. If(probably when) I go back, I’ll order something else. Good for a late night meal, though.

This place has an eclectic menu. The chicken Brie sandwich is really delicious. Hubby got a salad that was good too.

If you and your SO can’t agree on whether you want burgers or Thai food, Muu-Muu’s is the answer. It’s one of my favorite places to take out-of-town guests for a casual meal, or to head to for a low-key date night. Lots of variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone, and it won’t break the bank. Portion sizes are good, I’ve always been happy with the quality of the food, and service is friendly and un-fussy. In summary, Muu-Muu’s is basically an upscale pub experience – no frills, simple food, dark and casual atmosphere. This plus the variety on the menu is what makes it a go-to for me.

This is a family favorite(for brunch) and has been for years! It’s relatively unknown for their brunch– as a result there’s rarely a wait. It’s a bit dark– but it has an edge and a personality unique to itself. Their mole sauce is authentic and is always a home run with their huervos ranchers. Benedict’s are always awesome, real and home made. Home fried potatoes are crunchy… Nobody complains about the $ 5 Mary’s or Mimosas either… should your desire or situation merit one or more of these. Staff is always quick, courteous and professional! For years we tried to buy that Heath Ledger painting… The owner would not part with it. Alas, this last visit it was gone.

I am so torn about Muu-Muus. On one hand the food is not good. And at one point I was going there regularly because my friends would always want to meet there right around dinnertime. Which leads me to why the 4-stars: it’s actually a really cool bar with good drinks. But they’re ½ bar, ½ restaurant. So do I rate them on their bad food or their cool ambiance/drinks? I’ll say service/ambiance/drinks, and then just not eat when I go.

Honestly, I was extremely disappointed… Shitty bar food I can deal with. Shitty service(thanks Maggie) but you can’t even bring us waters after we ask for them? You are a local bar. I figured water would be something you want to give intoxicated people. I don’t know that’s just me. I was a server for a very long time. Get your shit together! Terrible service. Fan of this area but I will NEVER come back here. Again thanks Maggie.

NW21st is home to many restaurants and dive bars. I am extremely happy to see that over the years Muu-Muu’s has stayed relatively the same. They have an excellent selection of food. No matter what you are interested in eating, they will most likely have it on their menu. The range of selection is great for picky eaters, or those who want a little of everything. They have a great Creaser Salad, Brie sandwich, Calamari and pot stickers are all my favorites. Full bar with beer and wine, a great bartender that will make you something«kinda sweet» if you don’t really know what you want. And friendly, not overbearing service.

Came in here last night for some dinner. Atmosphere was busy even on a Monday night. I had the chicken/beef satay, but also shared with my date the Monday special: spaghetti & meatballs. Waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, and not over priced! Meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The peanut sauce was very very good. I would recommend this joint, the crowd is young and the food is fantastic.

Went here for dinner with a couple of friends who were in Portland. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how good of a restaurant it was. We did the small plates and got a bunch of different items: garlic bread, onion rings, fish and chips, pork tacos, calamari, steak bites, potstickers and asparagus. Of all the items, the pork tacos and potstickers I thought were especially excellent, but all of them were delicious. The place is casual, but not too stuffy or sloppy. A nice mix and a comfortable environment. The price wasn’t too expensive either. We’ll definitely be back!

I like muu-muus! It’s fun and a good place to go for happy hour and drinks. I usually order a bunch of small plates to share with everyone, which is better than most of their regular meal options. The pork tacos, beef skewers, potstickers, salads and the seared tuna are all great dishes. My personal favorites are the pork tacos and the seared tuna. The Tuna has a wasabi sauce that it DE-licious! The Moscow mules are also top notch! No ginger ale used here!

Nice little bar, the food is phenomenal. My buddy and I decided to split a bunch of apps. We got the streak bites as recommended by other reviews — they were fantastic thick marinated chunks of hanger steak served with creamy horseradish. We got the spinach and artichoke dip along with spicy wings. They both had great flavor. Seared wasabi tuna was fantastic (Pictured). Sautéed kale and pancetta salad was delightful. All of the food coming out of this bar is very well done and well prepared. It will surprise you. Also the prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend dining here. The staff needs some work especially the daytime bartender’s. So don’t expect friendly and helpful service, but great food and great value. Happy hour is also great.

Haven’t been here in years. Stopped in tonight for a quick dinner and remembered how great everything tastes here. The atmosphere is light and easy going. Everyone is happy and great music. TV at the bar was helpful in following the NBA playoffs. The spicy beef salad is killer! It has an good balance of tangy, salty, and spicy in the dressing. The heat builds a little bit too much where you can’t enjoy your food. The beef is tender and lean. Can’t really beat flamed grilled sirloin kabobs.

This has a great vibe! We came here for a quick and small dinner with a group of friends. It has a very pub feel to it. I got the caprese salad which was great. My friend got the tacos which looked basic and he said were good. My other friend got the beet salad which was ok. She also got an amazing cream soda! Try it if you’re in the mood. It comes with cream on the side and is clear! The HH looked pretty decent unfortunately we missed it :(

Happy happy hour makes mee-mee happy! Drink menu: not that many choices but it’ll work. Guess I’m used to SD with all the independent brews available on tap Food menu: a lot of choices! We got 6 items. Oh boy, the waiter probably thought we were pigs(3 girls) –Calamari: could go without, didn’t like how they fried it –Chicken satay with rice: Great flavors for a non-Asian place! –Kale salad: best order of the night! Love the grilled kale and bacon pieces –Seared Tuna: great sauce –Beef Steaks: decent, could use some seasoning –Carnitas Tacos: so dry, could go without…
